I attempted something in the latter half of the chapter, and i don't know whether you like it or bored by it.

Without further ado, let's dive in

Story starts

He saw pete walking on the road, he stopped his bike halting the pete steps.

Pete looked at him like he doesn't want to deal with anything now.

" Come on , we'll go back, no need to go away." Vegas asked him still on the bike

" I know the situation when I am unwelcome, I am not going back there Vegas" pete answered him

"Then I'll drop you to home"

"I can go by myself"

"Pete, either you hop on the bike or I'll come to your house with you by bus and return by bus to my home.I am not allowing you to go alone. Decide which one you want, "Vegas said with a final tone.

Pete looked at him for a minute, when  suddenly he realised something

"How did you come with your father present in your house?"

" Hop on, if you want answers" Vegas said.

Pete reluctantly hopped on the bike, and they reached a

"Why did we come to the park now?" Pete asked him, cause why?

"You asked a question pete, don't you need an answer any more.." Vegas countered and they both got down from the bike

The park was closed because it's 12:30 and Vegas talked to security guard and opened the gates. The lights got on one by one and the whole park lit under the midnight sky. This is the 2nd time they came to the park and now they sit on the same bench looking at the lake infront of them.

" Now tell me what happened with your father" Pete couldn't control his curiosity.

Vegas described what happened at the house and Pete was shocked to say the least. He didn't expect vegas to defy his father that openly.

"Did you seriously told your father to fuck off" Pete asked cause he couldn't believe his ears.

Vegas hesitantly nodded.

"Oh god he said that, Did he do a mistake?"Vegas thought internally

Pete started laughing loudly and Vegas doubts erased completely

Pete's laugh is worth every thing.

"Pinch me now, come on" Pete said with a smiley face extending his left hand towards Vegas

"I don't think that's necessary" Vegas just scoffed at pete enthusiasm.

"Well today is a good day, do we need to celebrate?" Pete is smiling from ear to ear.

" Now you are overdoing it " Vegas rolled his eyes while saying.

Pete just smiled and hugged Vegas tightly....

Maybe vegas didn't understand what he did, till now he followed everything his father said except in Macau's case. He openly defied his father,this is such a good thing for future steps. Maybe he'll come from the illusion his father created for him....he knows vegas father won't take this lightly...but for now he doesn't want to think about anything...
