Klaus's POV
I rolled my eyes as Katherine passed around the room. "Witch shirt?" I asked her. I was currently in Alaric's body and had to get ready for school. She glanced in my direction then pointed to one of them. "Will you stop pacing? It's annoying" I told her. She stoped for a second. "If you do one small thing." She said. "I don't think your in the position to make requests Katherine " I told her. She ignored me and continued talking. "All I want is to know when you see Damon Salvatore, alright? I haven't seen him all week and I want to know he's alright." She rambled. I just rolled my eyes. She had told me that Damon was one of Alaric's friends. "I suppose" I mumbled. She hadn't stoped pacing since I brought her here. I mean I don't care who she's worried about but I'll be seeing him anyways.———
A week and a half later, I was back in my normal body. I was in the teachers apartment still as I had nowhere better to go. Katherine was still pacing as I hadn't seen Damon yet, Stefan had told me that he was out of town but I could tell he was lying. "That's it, I'm going to get a drink" I mumbled as I left the apartment.
As I arrived at the Mystic Grill, my arm started to itch. Internally I was thrilled as this meant that my soulmate was here. But on the outside I just smirked and looked around the room. My eyes landed on a guy who was paler than most almost grey, he had long ish dark hair. Even though I couldn't see his face I could tell he was gorgeous. I noticed that he was subconsciously scratching at his wrist, as that was probably where his soulmark was.
(soulmark on Klaus's wrist)I walked over to the bar and sat down. I could tell he was a vampire from his sent but there was something else mixed in with it that I couldn't decipher. I shrugged it off as I spoke. "Hello there love" I said. "Klaus I presume?" He asked as he looked up. If you went paying attention you would have missed it but his eyes widened slightly as his cheeks became brighter, only slightly. He regained himself almost immediately although his hart slipped a beat. I smirked, I was happy that I'd caused that reaction. "Yes and who might you be?" I asked. He froze for a second before considering his answer. Probably trying to decide wether or not to answer truthfully. "....... Damon" he answered. His gaze dropped to his glass as he drank the rest of his drink.
I heard his phone ding. He took it out of his pocket and looked at the message. "I've got to go" he mumbled and left the bar. I sighed and ordered a drink.

I got back to the apartment. I saw Katherine still pacing. "He's fine" I told her. "Who? Damon?! Do you see him?" She rambled. "Yes" I mumbled. She sighed.
Damon's POV
As I got to the boarding house I could already hear people chatting inside. I took a deep breath before walking inside. "Arnt you suppose to be dead?" I asked as I saw Elijah along with Stefan and his friends. The group all looked a bit shocked as Elijah just chuckled slightly. "I can't be killed by a normal stake to the hart" he said. I just nodded as I walked farther into the room. I subconsciously started to scratch at my arm as it started tingling. 'What the hell is going on with my arms?' I thought. I sat down on the sofa as far away from Stefan as possible. Not that anyone noticed as I always sat away from them. Elijah gave me a strange look but quickly went back to discussing how they where going to try and kill Klaus during his transition. All threw out the discussion I kept quiet. I didn't know why but I felt guilty, sad and angry about what they where planning to do. I am so confused, why do I want to protect him. He's evil and trying to kill Elena.
After they all discussed that, it was awkward to say the least. I managed to get out of it. "I'm going for a walk" I told no one in particular. I herd Elijah say he was leaving as I left the house. As I started to walk towards the woods Elijah court up with me. He didn't talk he just walked along side me as we walked through the woods. It was strange. I had only met this man twice, the first when I tried to kill him yet I felt safe with him for some reason.
After a few minutes of silence I finally had the courage to speak. "I saw your brother at the grill earlier" I told the original. "How did you know was my brother I haven't told any of your friends.?" He asked I didn't respond. He didn't say anything for a moment. "Don't ignore me Darling" he said. I blushed at his words but still didn't say anything, I didn't want to tell him as I knew that he and Katherine had bad history and she was the one who told me. "It doesn't matter" I finally said. Thankfully he didn't bring it up again. As we continued to walk I kept scratching at my arm. It was becoming more and more itchy and tingly by the minute.
Elijah kept glancing at my arm then looking away. It was confusing. Like it was as if he knew why it was itching but wasn't saying anything. After a while Elijah spoke. "Why did you sit so far away from everyone else darling?" He asked. My breath court in my throat and my hart skipped a beat. I froze and tensed up. "N-No reason" I responded. "Don't lie to me Sweetheart." He said. My hart started beating faster, I knew he was serious and Katherine had told me how dangerous he was, but then if Stefan found out I told someone...... oh god. "I-I should get back" I mumbled before I ran off.
Elijah's POV
"How did you know he was my brother I haven't told any of your friends ?" I asked. He didn't respond "Don't ignore me Darling" I told him. I smirked slightly as I saw the blush on his face. He didn't respond for a minute. "It doesn't mater" he said. I could tell he didn't want to tell me so I decided not to push it. But there was one question I needed and answer to.I glanced down at his wrist as he kept scratching at it probably trying to stop the effects of the soulmate bond. "Why did you sit so far away from everyone else darling?" After I asked that he immediately started to panic. I could here his hart beating faster and it skipped a beat when I had asked. He also stoped and tensed up, I knew something was wrong with my mate since I first looked into his eyes and saw the fear and confusion, but this just proved it. "N-no reason" he said rather quickly. I didn't believe him. "Don't lie to me sweetheart" I warned. His hart started beating faster as he was no doubt thinking of a way out of the question. "I-I should get back" he said before running back to his house. I was going to run after him but he was very fast. Too fast for a normal vampire.
