The Neighbors

today mom taught me things, at first it was running then knife trowing then hand to hand combat, she told me that i need to do this for dad to come back and to keep our new home safe, she told me that i should never let any one see my real gift and just show them my Wings when asked, oh! i almost forgot today a merchant came selling things to our territory and asked passage through so mom escorted the man across our territory, while on the way the man was a very good company he would give me tips on the way while mom teaches me how to hunt, i always ended up with a few knife's short each time to get the kill so the merchant helped me by showing me a trick, mom approved it so he showed me how he can pull out things larger than himself out of his bag, the bag was actually empty so i was startled and confused so he told me his secret, he uses a sommuning rune it was engraved in his hand so his hand reached into a different dimensions to get the items but there is a rule to it, you cannot take things that you have not put into the rune, and second you cannot put live object inside it, then he gave me my very own rune, he went and put about 1000 pieces of knives in it, which my mother payed with gems, and we said goodbye to each other, he said he will come back some time to play and talk again as he leave our territory

i was awoken by the rustle of leaves and twigs breaking.

i spotted a group of 9 werewolf in their human forms which was odd since most rouges are on their wolf form for safety,
one who seems like the leader stood outside the boundary and examining the surounding, lucky me he didnt spot me as i grab 5 knives from my belt, p.s. my belt was hand made by my wonder mom and it can hold a total of 15 knives where most of my gear had atleast 5 - 10 knives hidden on each, by the way my knives are unique since they are not longer then 10 cm but thier blade can differ from my wrist to my middle finger, and back to the intruders,
i was waiting for him to cross the boundary when he spoke.

"we come in peace"

"we are here to tell you something"

"please appear before us"

huh? what do they think i am, im not a fool, they might attack me when they see me? i thought to my self

the leader started to look at his comrade and unsure of him self, and at that moment i spotted one of my friend, i made him to look like a golem to ward of intruders since he reminded me of the iron giant in one of mom's book, so i went and told him to show himself with me on his shoulder to our supposed to be intruder.

as the ground shudders from his weight as we made a path towards them, i smiled at the look on their face as we approach them, the golem took his hand near his shoulders for me to climb up to it, so that he can safely bring me to our visitors, as i hop down to the ground, smiled and waved good bye to the golem as it slowly walked away, i turned away and stared at the visitors with my emotions masked.

the leader of the group went and introduced themselves

"hello im Mathew im the alpha of the bloodmoon pack and this is my warriors, jacob my beta, and loyd my top warrior, we will be on the neighboring territory and will be attending the university on the east"

he showed his hand for me to shake but i just stared at him

"so is that a no?"he asked
and he stepped over the boundary trying to get near to me but when he was atleast a feet or two from the boundary i started my attack throwing 4 knives in unison and helding the fifth to his neck, as the other four hit his hands and legs immobilizing him and i said

" you may cross the boundaries on the east but if you ever crossed without asking permission i might kill you, and by the way you must wear the necklace i gave so that my freind won't attack your people on impulse, under stood?"

"understood"he said
as i helped him to get up and and took all my knives back from him i bowed my head and said
" if you need me ill be at the tall cherry blossom tree at the center of this forrest but heed my warning"
i smiled and wave goodbye as i disappeared into the forest.
