LINDSAY'S POV

I havnt talked to my dad since i left. Mostly because he hadnt known yet.

"hello?" i sputter out.

"Lindsay Mari Carter! You had no premission to take money and run away from home!"

i take a deep breath, " I know im sorry that i didnt tell you, but i was afraid you would try and stop me..."

" your mother has told me everything, do you need any help?"

what?! no 'come home now' or 'your grounded for life? "Um no im accually just looking for a job.."

"okay hun, make sure that boy takes care of you and i want you to not forget about college. I love you."

i smile. "Love you too! thanks dad."

"you're welcome hun."

I hang up, well that went suprisingly well? I push that thought away and search the papers for a job.

there is a job opening for; Mc.Clucks, the fasion statment, starbucks, peir 1 imports, and.... Ooh! Assistant librarian! i love to read, that would be an amazing job!

I dial in the number to the library.

"hello this is judy for the Orlaenn library, how may i assist you?"

i clear my throught. "my name is Linday Carter, i was wondering when i could apply for the assistant librarian?"

"You're hired!"

ok.. wait what? "what?" i ask astonished at her remark.

" we didnt want to pay to put in the exra words in the news paper but the job opening was first come first serve."

wow " okay that you, when do i start?"

"um, how does saturday sound?"

"that sounds awesome! oh wait, i am still in school.."

she pauses. "That's okay, you can come when ever you can and i will pay you hourly."

"Okay thank you so much."

" oh and Lindsay?"

"yah?" i ask.

"when you come saturday bring a notebook to take notes on how to do you job."

i smile and then hang up.

JOB: check!
