It is quiet true that I may have fought for a while when it came to wanting to come to school for last couple of months but I can't deny to the fact that I missed Hogwarts. I missed the common room, the Great Hall, the Quidditch Pitch, the Library, The potions class and especially the Astronomy Tower.
I have always believed that Hogwarts was a safe space for everyone that belong here. It's not
just a school it's home to many, at least to me this school is."Oh I didn't miss this." I heard Blaise speak as a group of Gryffindors passed us and entered the great hall. It was almost dinner and we were waiting for the rest of our friends to join us.
"I am with you on that." I said with a scowl on my face. I never new why the Gryffindor's always felt the need to radiate this extremely happy and joy filled character. It was almost too- fake.
"Hey Rosalia" I looked up to see Ginny Weasley walk up to me with a sweet smile and perfectly straight red hair falling flawlessly over her shoulders. Ginny and I have somehow managed to deal with each-other I would even dare address her as a friend. Don't get me wrong she is almost fully Gryffindor -ish but that little smart mouth and her will to do evil things to other when she is angry gives her that sly Slytherin edge and makes her quite likeable really.
"How are you doing?" She said as she rubbed the side of my arms while I just gave her a little smile.
"I am sorry I couldn't come, see you I thought it would be best to let you get some alone time." She said her eyes radiating a kind of sympathy I didn't want.
"It's okay Ginny, thank you for thinking about me. It means a lot." I quickly said brushing off the uneasy feeling tingling in my body. I still wasn't okay with uncalled sympathy.
"I'll see you around yeah?" She said picking up on the fact that I wasn't comfortable with the topic just yet. She left for the great hall, not before giving a small brief hug.
"I always thought she'd do best in Slytherin." Blaise said, eyes still on her.
"Just go up to her and tell her you fancy her, how hard is that Blaise?!" I said turning towards him, he has fancied her the moment he laid eyes on her the first time.
"I don't fancy her. I just think she'd be a good fit in our house." He explained himself like he always does. Cheeks a little flushed.
"You know what I heard? Tomorrow we are going to have some visitors." Theo popped up from God knows were scaring the shit out of me and Blaise.
"What the hell Theo." I exclaimed with a hand on my chest.
"What visitors?" Blaise enquired as the three of us walked towards the great hall.
"I don't know I just heard." Theo shrugged munching on to an apple which I quickly took away from his hands and allowed myself a bite.
"But we never have visitors, except for the Ministry people who clearly only have business with Dumbledore." Blaise spoke again taking a seat in the Slytherin table followed by all of us.
"I said I don't know Blaise I just heard!" Theo sighed giving him a look, I can't say I didn't miss this constant bicker, especially being around them, at this point every time I am with them I feel a warmth like a little string that ties me to who I was a year ago. With all the cold I felt all the time, this feeling right now, it was nice.
"Did your eyes just change colour?" Malfoy's cold voice laced with an odd amount of curiosity spoke up from across me.
"I guess?" I was a little taken back by the question I mean- Draco and I barely look at each-other for him to be suddenly asking about the colour of my eyes at that.
