Four Tubbies in a land of meadows and peace, a robot to help with chores and a secret underground base with a white tubby recording them and growing a one sided attachment to the group. He was a guardian protecting them from threats. Unfortunately he failed them. A virus infected their minds and bodies killing them and making them reborn with intent to kill all that lives. With fortune the guardian managed to defeat the threat that loomed in the physical world. But he lost his friends when they turned into the atrocities of life and death. No cure was ever found for death. The guardian filled with guilt closed himself off in the abandoned base he once used for watching and protecting. Year after year the guardian fell deeper and deeper in a hole of guilt and regret, until one day he got a message from an unknown person.
The guardian made his way out of his base and into the outskirts looking like a mess. When he finally made it to the outskirts he saw a tubby almost like a shadow and with a sinister smile.
"I should introduce myself guardian, my name is-" "irrelevant" the guardian said, cutting off the tubby's sentence. Annoyed at the way the guardian spoke he continued, "you see I have made a regretful decision, I have killed many tubbies. And I have come to the conclusion that our predecessors couldn't, no living thing should play God." The Guardian was not phased by this statement," you should have told that to the machine that caused the virus a years back" the guardian rebutted. The tubby continued,"with this in mind I have decided to send you back and stop myself from committing the future we are in now". The guardian looked surprised and started to connect the dots. "It was you who created the virus". "Yes I did, regretfully and so I want you to stop the virus from causing such destruction in this future. I'll send you back with all the power I can. You'll forget all about these years and wake up that day with a dream giving a warning". Before the guardian could say or do anything a bright flash engulfed him and erased his memories and turned back the clock.
