The Guardian, after a day of work, went to sleep and had a worrying dream. "Where am I?" The Guardian wandered the white void before a tubby approached the Guardian. The tubby was missing a screen and had almost a goo-like fur bleach white.

"Hello, who are you?" The Guardian waited for a response.

"The custard is infected, your friends will die before the next strike of midnight. Save them, reveal yourself to the 4 of them, and get them to safety."

The Guardian was confused by the statement the goo tubby made. "Who are you?" The Guardian questioned.

"My identity matters very little as you need to save your friends and stop the near extinction of our kind." The white realm began to flicker. The Guardian was getting scared of the stability of this realm. "Whenever the light starts to dim or flicker, the future will be heading into darkness."

The Guardian woke up suddenly from his dream and held his head. "It was just a dream, but why am I following the goo's warning?" The Guardian ate some tubby toast and began a plan to reveal himself and bring his friends to safety.

After some hours of planning, the Guardian was ready to take his friends to safety. Climbing out of his base, he went to the dome. Po was staring off into the lake, taking in the view.

"Po, everyone was wondering where you went." Po looked back and saw Noo-Noo going to her and standing next to her.

"Hey Noo-Noo, I am just enjoying the view of the lake." Real or not, the lake always gave Po a sense of calmness and peace.

"You may enjoy it, but I would rather stay away from it. My circuits wouldn't enjoy the water." Po kept staring at the lake being careful not to get into a trance. "We should get you a raincoat."

"That would be impractical." Po stood there after hearing the response. "You should go back, the others are worried about you, and you haven't eaten."

Po started to walk away from the lake. "You coming to Noo-Noo?" Noo-Noo stood there looking at the lake. "Ok well, I'm going to enjoy the view."

Po walked back to the dome, admiring the grass and animals as she made her way back. When Po arrived at the dome, Tinky Winky went and hugged her and yelled, "Yay Po is back!" Po returned the hug. "Glad to see you too Tinky."

Tinky Winky let go of the hug and informed Po what happened with her friends since she went to the lake. "Po, there is some other tubby, and he knows our names and stuff. Go talk to him; he is in the dome!" Dipsy came out of the dome yelling. "Another tubby?"

Po was very confused. "Yes, another tubby, and he has my hat!" Po entered the dome and saw a white tubby sitting next to the slide. "Hey sir, I don't know if you know, but that hat belongs to my friend, so can you give it back?"

The white tubby stood up and put the hat down. "Sorry, but it holds sentimental value since I got it. Sorry to disappoint your friend." Po, wondering how this tubby got ahold of the hat, said, "well, can you tell me your name? Mine is-" Po was cut off by the tubby, "Po."

Po was stunned, "how did you know my name?" The tubby inhaled and said, "get your friends inside so they can hear too. It's a long story." Sure, I can do that! Here's the edited version of the text you provided:

Po brought her friends who were waiting outside and sat them down on the metal floor, ready to hear the story. The tubby took in a deep breath and began to speak.

"My name is the Guardian. I was given one purpose, and that was to protect you four at any cost, watching you every second, making sure you weren't in danger of death. I had to follow all the rules I was given, including never showing myself to all of you. But if it means protecting you, then I have to reveal myself. And that's where we are right now. Questions?"

Dipsy raised his hand. "Yes, Dipsy?"

"Can I have my hat?" Dipsy asked.

The Guardian shook his head. "Sorry, but it's very special to me. I hope you understand."

Laa-Laa raised her hand next. "If you're here to protect us, does that mean my dream will come true?" Laa-Laa had a nightmare about the future.

"That dream won't come true now that I am here," the Guardian replied.

Po raised her hand. "Yes, Po?"

Po was unnerved by the story the Guardian had just told. "What is the danger?"

The Guardian went silent for a moment before speaking. "The custard."

The four tubbies stood there in disbelief. "Wait, how? And when did it become dangerous?" Po asked in a concerned voice.

"I don't know the details, but I do know that it's infected with a deadly virus that kills and mutates the body," the Guardian explained.

Tinky Winky spoke up. "Okay, where are we going?"

The other tubbies stood there, looking at Tinky Winky. After a bit, the Guardian spoke. "I am taking you through the mountains on a path I have already mapped out. After that, we will enter the outskirts, a place of dead trees and an expansive desert. At the end of our journey, there will be a station where I can contact a special force known as the military that protects tubbies with weapons. From there, it is up to the military."

Tinky Winky seemed to be satisfied with the plan and turned to his friends. "Any doubts or anyone against this plan?"

Laa-Laa stood up and said, "What about Noo-Noo?"

"I understand that you are worried about Noo-Noo, but they are a machine and won't be affected by the custard. We are going to leave them to take care of this place while we are gone and waiting for this to be over," the Guardian replied.

Laa-Laa didn't have any more concerns, and the four started packing for the journey they were going on. The Guardian watched to make sure they didn't bring anything unnecessary along. One after another, the four finished packing their stuff and headed out. They all walked in a single line with the Guardian and Tinky Winky leading the group.

The Guardian and Tinky Winky were able to make some small talk on the way to the mountains. "So, Guardian, what gave you the guts to suddenly come out of your hiding hole and warn us?" Tinky Winky asked.

The Guardian was looking behind him, making sure the others were safe, and then turned to Tinky to answer his question. "Well, it was knowing you were in danger that gave me the guts. Had I not known beforehand, it would probably be too late," the Guardian explained.

The Guardian looked down at the ground, horrified by such thoughts of the future. Tinky simply smiled. "Well, I should thank you. I'm the oldest one out of The four who have to help the others when they are in trouble. "Glad to have another tubby looking out for bigger dangers," the guardian looked back at Tinky and smiled as well.

Halfway across the mainland and the mountains, the other three were talking to each other, not being noticed by the other two leaders. "So does anyone else have a weird vibe about him or is it just me?" said Dipsy, climbing over a rock.

"I think it's just you, Dipsy. You have always been afraid of new things," smiled Po ahead of Dipsy. "I don't know about the both of you but I trust him," said Laa-Laa in a cheerful tone.

"You know Laa-Laa, you have always been too trusting of things," Po smiled, thinking how great it is despite having widely different views on things they are still good friends.

The five finally made it to the start of the mountains and the end of the mainland. The guardian stepped on the rocky mountain without much trouble, however, the four were having a hard time making one more step.

"What's wrong, guys? Legs are too tired?" Tinky looked at the guardian. "It's not that. We never really stepped onto the mountains or elsewhere besides the meadows. Kinda hard to leave what we knew," replied the four.

The guardian got a sense of guilt since he always made sure to keep them from leaving the mainland. The guardian reached his hand out and said, "Well, I'll make sure each one of you takes my hand and steps onto this mountain."

The guardian got Tinky's hand then Po, after Laa-Laa, then finally Dipsy. Dipsy hesitated, "Come on, Dipsy. Trust me." Finally, Dipsy took the guardian's hand giving him some temporary trust. With that, the Guardian and Tinky led the way to the outskirts through the mountains that had layers of snow but no storm.
