Chapter 9 Back to school

Nina Pov

I woke up to Chase kissing my cheek telling me to get ready for school. I got out of bed and headed toward the bathroom. I took my shower, brushed my teeth and put some makeup on, and brushed my hair. I went to the closet and put on blue skinny jeans and a baby blue crop top with white converse.

I walk downstairs to the kitchen and everybody is there.

Good morning all. I said.

Good morning somebody looks happy. Mia said.

I am just a little bit excited for today, Alex you are still my bestie. I said.

You know it, now walk to school with your man I will be at your locker. He said.

We leave for school and I am with Chase we get to school and get out of the car and Nick and Daniel are behind us. We get to the door and Chase looks at me and says you ready? I nod.

We walk through the door and everybody stops and stares at me. Chase walks me to my locker and hugs me and kiss.

I will see you at lunch love. He said.

Okay, baby. I said.

Alex takes care of my girl. Chase said.

I will. Alex said.

I put my stuff in my locker and get out the books I need.

Let's get to class Alex. I said.

We walk to class and sit in the back. Chase comes in and sits next to me. We have the same classes now. I sit and take notes and Chase just stares at me.

The bell rings and heads to the next class.

Time Skip

We were walking to the Cafe and I turn around to Chase and tell him to go ahead I need to use the bathroom.

Okay, love. He said.

I walk into the bathroom and do my business and wash my hands. As I walk out I bump into Emma.

Well, look who it is the slut. She said.

I rolled my eyes. You're the slut, not me. I said.

Look you think you got Chase to stay away from him he is mine, not yours. She said.

Is that what you think to keep dreaming Emma? I said and walked to the Cafe.

Once in the Cafe, I walked up to Chase.

Hey love. He said.

Hi. I said.

You okay love? He said.

Fine, I am leaving I need to go for a run. Alex comes with. I said.

We walked out and into the Forrest, I went behind a tree and took my clothes off, and shifted. I ran and ran til I came to a lake and shifted back.

What is wrong? Alex said.

Nothing just thinking. I said.

Of what. Alex said.

Emma told me to stay away from Chase. I said.

And you are listening to her. He said.

She is prettier than me. I said.

Well, you are not right she is not good-looking at all. He said.

Let's head to the pack house I am tired.

We get to the pack house and I go to my and Chase's room.
I lay on the bed and fall asleep.

Alex Pov

I go to Chase's office and talk to him.

Chase, we have a problem. I said.

What is it? He said.

Emma is telling Nina that you belong to her. I said.

Well, I don't. He said.

I know but Nina feels that she is prettier and maybe you would be happier. I said.

I need to talk to her. He said.

She is in your room. I said.

Chase Pov

I walk into my room and Nina is sitting on the bed.

Hey love can we talk? I said.

Yea what's up? She said.

I heard what Emma said and what you said. I said.

You are beautiful you are my mate I only want you. I said.

Are you sure? She said.

Yes. I said.

Okay, lay with me. She said.

We lay down and fell asleep.
