Sometimes

Sometimes a smile can make a day,
Sometimes without talking a thousand words you may say,
Sometimes you may think a thousand thoughts,
Yet sometimes the time unknowingly trots.

You try to catch your breath,
Each days tiredness you seem to fret,
The day brings you actions untold,
Your heart is put on sale and is sold,
Yet sometimes,
Just sometimes don't you feel alone?

Sometimes the wind blows so slow,
Sometimes in the distance you see a dim light glow,
Sometimes you see what you fear the most,
Yet sometimes you willingly walk through winter's frost.

The day has come and gone by,
The dusk is giving way to the dark nigh',
The shackles to which the dreamer is bound,
Will soon give way to fierce imaginings and frowns,
Yet sometimes,
Just sometimes don't you feel sun's warmth yonder that dark cloud?

Sometimes that dreamer speaks aloud,
Sometimes humanity is lost and found,
Sometimes Nature cries in pain,
Yet sometimes you lose much more in the hope to gain.

Condemned is humanity with each days tryst,
An era is to begin within this abyss,
He sees blood turn into wine,
He sees a baby holding the hands of Time,
Death who stares in the face of man,
Yet sometimes don't you know a new beginning he can fan?

Sometimes reality is not what it seems,
Sometimes reality is woven by dreams,
Sometimes the dreamer dreams away,
Yet sometimes he wakes from his slumber to a brand new day.
