2x21
I decided to give Jenna and Elena their time together, as it would be their last time together. Greta disappeared, to go grab Jules from what I could decipher from her mumbling. Leaving me to my thoughts.
In a nervous habit, I began fiddling with the rings on my fingers. I was about to break a curse a thousand years old, one cast by the original witch but created by my ancestor. It felt so surreal. Not only that, but Henrik. I would meet him soon, I could feel it. It was as if a part of me was tied to him, and the cord between us was shortening.
A scream broke my thoughts and I looked up to see Greta had returned with Jules, the werewolf for the sacrifice. She was groaning in pain and clutching at her stomach. A small twinge of pity hit me. Even if she had hurt me and Caroline, no wolf deserved to suffer as she was now.
"What's happening to me?" Jules asked Greta, her voice sounding as if she were struggling to breathe. Greta leaned down to the wolf's level, "I cast a spell to slow down your transformation. Your insides are trying to tear themselves free."
The witch walked away, nodding to me. I flicked my wrist and watched as a third ring of fire encircled Jules, now matching the one I had put around Elena and Jenna. Elena, who chose that moment to speak up, "Greta, Dove, witches are supposed to maintain the balance in nature. It's your duty to them to keep this curse sealed."
Greta's face flickered with annoyance, "My duty is to Klaus! The new order."
"And you know nothing of nature's balance," I added, my voice cold. A voice made me turn around, meeting eyes with Klaus, "Glad to know I still have a dance partner."
Klaus looked at the three girls in fire, a smirk on his face, "Hello, my lovelies. Are we ready?"
I walked to the altar, ignoring the sounds of Elena and Jenna's crying, of Jules's suffering. Klaus walked to my side, Greta following him like a puppy. She still didn't know what would happen in mere minutes. I looked toward the moonstone in Klaus's hand, but he hesitated, "I've got the moonstone. I spent 500 years looking for this. I hate to part with it."
"Do you want to be whole?" I asked. His eyes flickered with something before he handed it over. I gripped the moonstone in my hand, feeling the magic of the curse within it. Then, before anything else could be said, I grabbed onto Greta's arm and began siphoning magic from her.
She screamed for Klaus to help her, but instead, he just watched on. I siphoned until there was nothing left of her but a lifeless body, which dropped to the ground as I let go of her. I let myself let go as well as she dropped to the ground. I knew what I needed to be now. Not Dove Andris, but the Raganų Žudikas. The powerful Witch Slayer. I needed her power.
(Witch Slayer)I glanced at Klaus, "The moon has passed its apex. Remember everything you need to do?"
He nodded once, signaling me to start. I began siphoning the curse itself from the moonstone, to break the curse I needed to break the bind that held it. And this rock was the bind. So I siphoned all the magic that coursed through it. And once it was gone, I dropped the moonstone into the bowl of flames I had prepared.
