Haechan decided not to get a ride home, or not yet at least. His friends still had some afterschool activities. Haechan saw Chaehwa walking with her bike and friends. He took a deep and walked toward her.

As he got closer, he felt his heart pound faster, rushing faster and faster, his feet felt heavy as his feet made each step.

Haechan reached his hand out putting his hand on her shoulder. "Uh, Chaehwa, can I talk to you?"

Chaehwa turned her head to look at him, her hair flowing. He blushed.

"Yes?" Chaehwa softly smiled at him. His heart jumped, doing flips. Her smile is so beautiful.

"Can I talk to you alone?" he asked, hoping it didn't sound creepy or the wrong way.

Chaehwa looked back at her friends, nudging her head forward for them to walk ahead, and they did. She looked back at him, his face was tinted lightly pink. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her. It was like Chaehwa had enchanted him. His eyes glanced down at her lips, he quickly looked away and cleared his throat.

"So uh, I was wondering," he ran a hand through his hair. Why was this so scary? Their eyes met. He gulped. "I-I like you, and was wondering if you would like to go out on a date with me?"

Chaehwa looked at him shocked. Her eyes slightly wide. She was speechless. Haechan felt himself grow nervous, waiting for answer.

"I-I'm sorry, but I don't feel the same way..." she got onto her bike. "But thank you for being honest.. I'm sorry, but I like your friend Jaemin." She began to peddle away while Haechan just stood there shocked, flabbergasted.

"W-what? S-she likes him?" Haechan stared at her as she peddled away. He felt disappointed and sad. Why out of all the people, did she have to like him? Haechan took a deep breath, defeated.

But then he realized, perhaps he can try to pursue her, and hopefully, change her mind.
