His mom died while giving birth.

And he goes exploring even tho he can't read.
He is very dramatic, due to his dead parents.

He never managed to keep friends because Batman kept killing em he is surrounded by death, poor man.
Therefore he tries to keep death away by keeping everyone away.
And he is still traveling the world by jumping on trains and doing back Flips that sometimes causes him to break his neck. That's a problem for man because man doesn't have insurance so he would have to pay out of pocket to get healed so he just walks around with neck that jiggles and isn't connected to his spine:).
