The New Kid [Reddie au]

The bell rings to go home. Eddie takes his time packing up,while Ritchie is waiting for him. Eddie is confused why Ritchie isn't going home already. "Why aren't you going home Ritch?"eddie askes. "Waiting for you dumbass! Come on hurry up!"Ritchie answers. Eddie smiles and packed up faster. Finally eddie finished packing up. They both leave school and walk to their houses. Ritchie walks eddie home. Eddie's happy he made a friend, No a best friend. Eddie's heart is lit up with joy as he walks inside. Sonia isn't home, as always. Eddie's heart sank. Then he didn't know what happened but he walked out of his house and said to Ritchie "hey Ritch um do you wanna.. come over?" Ritchie was confused why he asked but he smiled and nodded. Ritchie took Eddie's hand as Eddie leads the way. Eddie heart lit up with joy again.

The two decided to watch a movie together. Ritchie put on horror movie not knowing Eddie get scared easily and hates horror movies. Whenever scary part come up Eddie covers his eyes untill it's over. Ritchie notices it and turns off the horror movie. "Hey Ed's you ok?"Ritchie asked worried. "Yea yea I'm um fine Chee"Eddie replied with his voice shaking. Ritchie was worried to death he didn't realise that Eddie was cuddling him. When Ritchie finally notices Eddie is asleep. Ritchie smiles "am I catching feelings for Eddie?"He thought before falling asleep.

[In the morning Saturday]

Eddie woke up first. When he relised he was cuddling Ritchie he let go in a panic. He was very flustered. Eddie wanted to wake up Ritchie but seeing him to peaceful he didn't. He walked into the kitchen going to make breakfast. Eddie tried to get his mind off cuddling Ritchie but just couldn't. He wondered if he was gay and liked Ritchie? All this made him wonder and think a lot.
