Richie jumped into the lake first, then Bev, Mike,Ben ,bill and Stan. But Eddie didn't jump. He was scared,to scared to jump. So he just stood up there at the edge. "Come on Eddie! Come in!" Beverly shouted. Eddie shook his head multiple times. Richie looked at Eddie confused. "He's probably scared of heights" Richie whispered. "Yeah I think so. Rich go help you little boyfriend" mike whispered back. "He's not my boyfriend. Not yet asleast." Richie said sarcastically. Mike laughed. Then Richie laughed to. Eddie thought they were laughing at him, but he ignored it and would ask Richie later why he was laughing. Richie got out of the lake and went to Eddie. "Do you need me to hold your hand going down mr Eddie spaghetti." Richie asked. "My name is Eddie not Eddie spaghetti and yea." Eddie replied. "On the count of three" Richie said. "One, two, three!" They both jumped. Eddie closed his eyes shut not daring to open them until he was in the water. "Wasn't so bad was it Ed's?" Richie asked. "My name is not Ed's" Eddie replied. Richie laughed. "Your cute when your mad" Richie said laughing.

After hours everyone went home, except Eddie and Richie. Richie knew it's not the best time to confess love to someone (Eddie) right now, but he didn't know any where else. "Hey um Eddie?" Richie said nervously. "Yea what's up Chee?" Eddie replied. "Well..I.. I've liked, no loved you since we fist met! I've been in love with you since I saw you"Richie blurted out. Eddie was speechless. The guy he liked confussed his love for him? At the quarry? "Well.. I've liked, no loved you since I've meet you too. I guess I've just been scared about feelings, I don't want to lose you."Eddie spoke. Richie pulled Eddie into a kiss. "Love you Ed's" Richie said. "Love you too, dingus" Eddie said smiling.
