Flowey x reader|headcanons

Here's some headcanons for Flowey and the reader entering a relationship :)

-ok to start off, he's definitely confused about his entire existence
like, this poor guy believed for a very long time that he'll never be able to even care about anyone at all, and to think that he's in love with you drives him crazy.
Obviously he'll be in denial and act tsundere-ish around you, trying to convince himself that he doesn't love you, for he is scared of rejection, after all, there's no way you'd fall in love with a soulless flower, right? Well, that's what he thought,
It doesn't matter who confesses first, your still getting a tight hug(?) from the plant if you feel the same as him, but if you didn't- I mean,then why are you reading this book?? '-' anyways yes he would definitely start crying tears of joy, feeling like it's a dream come true, he finally has someone to care about and love.

-well...sometimes he gets bad anxiety that he might be a bad romantic partner and that he doesn't deserve you
Constantly overthinking weather you would cheat on him or not
He mentally slaps himself for it because he knows that what he's thinking is bad
But he can't help it
it'll take him some time to get used to being in a relationship so please have some patience with him, he's trying his best.
He'll still be shy even in a relationship, so you have to let him know that you're always here if he wants to open up.

-when I say hold the flower
I mean HOLD THE FLOWER!!!
he loves affection even if he doesn't say so
Usually he would glance at you from across the room and if you catch him staring he will look away, that's his way of telling you that he would like some affection, anything, a hug, some cuddles, head pats, or you just sitting next to him makes him feel comforted.

-OHOHOOO but once he gets comfortable with the relationship???
It'll be so much fun
He won't be afraid or shy to strike up conversations normally whenever you're around anymore, also he now fully trusts you and knows that you'll never leave him, which makes him feel like he's the happiest flower in the world! Well...literally, but still!
Now it's his time to be affectionate for no reason.
he will every now and then wrap his vines around you or lean against you, he would play with your hair or caress your head with his fuzzy,warm vines, maybe curl up on your lap like a cat, he really does behave like a cat if you think about it.

-sometimes he would learn from frisk and try pick-up lines on you to see your reaction, which doesn't fail to make him blush feeling stupid and cheesy after flirting with you, well, that backfired, still having fun though

-still calls you an idiot, but you're his idiot now, so obviously there's much less "mean" tone in his voice, instead he just smirks at you knowing well that he's just messing around with you

-kisses are something that you must be careful about, or else he'll turn into a red rose :))

Expect to receive some random kisses at any random time, maybe a quick peck on the cheek, forehead, lips if you're comfortable with it, he just loves to let you know how much he loves and appreciates you, obviously he loves receiving kisses from you too, but don't be extreme in public or else he'll get flustered and nag at you to just calm down and "save it for later"

But maybe you will be extreme anyway
You just love this tsundere little dork

Obviously you're free to give him affection as much as you want in private

-he gets jealous easily if you're giving someone else more attention, like, a friend of yours or something, but he knows that he can't keep you all to himself 24/7, you have your own life too, and ignoring that would turn your relationship into an unhealthy one. He wouldn't want that.

-help I'm running out of ideas

-he would look up the recipe of your favorite food and learn how to cook it just for you (he's new to human food so he's still learning what they can and cannot eat) He's such a sweetheart <=]
