Flowey ramble🎀

So this was supposed to be flowey headcanons but then I got carried away and wrote an analysis instead lmao. Still, flowey content is Flowey content.

-"I am soulless u cant save me 💔" until you remind him of his alarm clock dialogue thing about Toriel and the post-pacifist message to the player.
Okay so.
In my interpretation, Asriel didnt feel anything when he reunited with either of his parents because of the traumatic events that happened. That- and obviously his lack of soul. I'm just saying that his soullessness might not be the MAIN main thing making him feel empty. Because he's been acting otherwise.
Judging by Toriel and Asgore's parenting in undertale AND deltarune, it seems like they do not understand how to deal with children whi have Disorders, depression, PTSD, etc. so poor lil thing was probably never taught about dealing with trauma. And after realizing that nobody around him understood what he's going through; he followed his best friend's footsteps. Until he regretted it last minute but thats besides the point.

Now when he discovered his resetting power is when things got even worse. Because even though he had been amused and attached to the monsters he encountered, he had exhausted every outcome, every line of dialogue, every scenario, and everyone feels like NPC's to him now. Nothing seems fulfilling anymore. Think of it as Character.AI but you keep talking to the same bot over and over that their responses become predictable and boring, and you've ran out of scenarios. Yeah weird comparison I know but TAKE ME SERIOUSLY CMON👺👺

"Hurts, doesnt it? If you had went through it without caring about anyone, you wouldnt have to feel bad now." -post neutral route.
Sounds like Flowey's speaking from experience here, maybe he had gotten attached to the monsters he encountered. The amusement and entertainment they gave him. But after he got bored of them that feeling faded away. And now he misses it. He feels depressed about the fact that he got bored of everyone.

He used the reset powers to escape his consequences. He killed, hurt, manipulated, because he was bored,he had to know what happens. Eventually he grew numb to that too, becoming engrossed in the "Kill or be killed" ideology.

After the pacifist route, his moralities have been restored and his cynical beliefs were changed thanks to Frisk's mercy influencing him. He seems to value the love the monsters have for eachother, the happy ending they worked for, the peace. You could say he's more emotionally 'awake' now.
My point is- What Flowey needs is a breather. New fresh air. To stop living the past. Maybe if he learns to heal and explore the world he'll grow a soul/hj
ACTUALLY THATS AN IDEA IVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT FOR A MINUTE!
Imagine he still has some very small soul residues from his hyperdeath form.
Think about it. Monster souls are made of love, hope, and compassion. So maybe the more he heals, the more the particles grow. And maybe he actually grows a soul!

Okay its a bit far fetched I'll admit. But if humans are capable of being Cruel, apathetic, and psychopathic WHILE having souls then I can imagine a soulless magical plant being empathetic!

He is so beautifully tragic I love him sm 💔

Anyway I just realized this is more of a Flowey analysis than a flowey headcanon rant so Imma make a seperate chapters for the headcanon stuff-
