Summer and Ash sat infront of eachother in silence. It wasn't an akward silence more of a peaceful silence. But even so Ash still felt uncomfortable. Sure. The two have hung out multiple times outside of training at the ice castle. But this was the first time it ever felt like a date.
Ash has always been interested in the Australian ice skater. But he never thought he would get a chance to know her personally. Hell, it almost seemed to good to be true. Summer was so beautiful. And so talented. It was a miracle they were even talking.
Then it happened. The blond placed her hand on his. "Are you ok?" Summer asked her features creating a concern look as Ash began to tense up. "Y-yeah I'm fine, it's just training really has me beat." Ash responded as he pulled his hand back to get a drink of his coffee.
"Oh I get that... But you're doing great for a person who's never skated before. In other words...." Summer said as she trailed off. Taking Ash's hands once more. "You move beautifully." Summer said as Ash's face became a full red color. Causing Summer to chuckle.
"Summer, do you remember when you saw me at your performance?" Ash asked as the waitress came with they're pastries. "Yes, what about it? You already apologized for leaving early." Summer said with a reassuring smile. "Well i think its time i show you whats in the note book." Ash said as he reached into in gray bag. To pull it out.
It was Summers turn to be nervous. For five years she was cruious to why he left her preformance that day in Detroit. And what he had in his notebook. Ash then handed her the note book. Summer instantly. Flipped to the mark page to see a beautiful picture of her skating on the ice she couldn't help but blush a little. "My mum and dad used to bring me to ice skating comptions when i was little. some times i would draw them.
And i would get they're autograph. It wasn't long untill i got some attention for it. Many skaters wanted me to draw them. And by the time i was 19 i was rich. But it wasn't the life i wanted. So i decided to get away. I went to Detroit to re-live some past memories. When i saw you. You skated so gracefully i couldn't stop myself from drawing you. I hope this dosent change our friendship."
Ash said as he looked down. Summer smiled and took his hand. "How i could i be mad at somthing like this. Ash, you are so talented. You should do this more often. Why would you think I'd be angry?" Summer asked as she stood up paying for the food and drinks. Ash followed Summer out in awe. Just then. Summer's phone. Started ding. Summer hummed in confusion.
