Today is the day! I can't believe I finally get to meet (C/N). He is flying in at noon, and then we are going to meet at (insert favorite coffee shop).
(C/N): Hey baby, I can't wait to see your gorgeous face in person. I love you!! I will text you when I land.
(Y/N): Sounds amazing my love. I can't wait to have you in my arms. I love you too!
I need to get ready! It is time to plan the most amazing outfit of (C/N's favorite color). Oh lord, then I have to do my makeup.
I look through my closet finding the perfect outfit. I slide the dress over some lacey surprises for later(😉). I look in the mirror and take a deep breath. I do not need to be this nervous, it's just (C/N). I sit down at my vanity and take my time doing my makeup, even though it will probably be smeared from tears by the end of today. I slip on my heels and go sit by the door until it's time to leave.
It's 11:30 now and waiting is killing me. I don't have to meet him until 12:30, but I will go ahead and go early.
I step into the car and open Spotify to play the songs that remind him of me. I belt them out while driving to (the coffee shop). Once I get there I walk in to order my usual.
"Hi! Welcome to (coffee shop) what can I get started for you?"
"Hi, Can I get a (size) (regular order)?"
"Of course, anything else for you?"
"Not yet," I say with a giggle. God, I am so nervous.
I pick a seat by a window overlooking the busy street. My phone pings with a notification from (C/N).
(C/N): Hey baby I just landed. Only a little longer 😘
(Y/N): Ahhhhh omg babes I can't wait. Hurry up 😘
The clock ticks a little closer to 12:30 and anticipation is eating me up inside. Every time the door swings open I jerk my head up.
Finally, 12:30 comes and he walks right in. He looks just as nervous as I am. He looks around and waves at me. I squeal and jump out of my seat. I try to contain myself while I walk/run towards (C/N).
"(Y/N)? My gorgeous baby, you're here." (C/N) says with a smile.
"Where else would I be?" I ask finding myself in his arms. I take a deep breath in and inhale his scent, taking comfort in every moment. This is the man I am going to be with for the rest of my life.
"Baby, look at me" (C/N) says gently. I look into his beautiful (color) eyes. "I love you so much," he says looking at me. I feel like I am floating. "I-I love you too (C/N)" I manage to stutter out. He lifts his hand to my chin and tilts it up. "I've been waiting to do this for (time of relationship)" he says capturing your lips in a kiss.
And the rest is history.
