Devon P.O.V

I knew something was wrong because I felt the fear coming off of Ariana so I jumped out my window and ran out of our pack territory I knew I was running straight into the moon pack territory but I couldn't help it I felt Ariana's pain and fear radiating off of her into me so what did the only thing I knew I could do I ran singing I crossed into their pack borders felt it stronger than anything so I kept running until I made it to the pack house I ran inside guards running after me and ran straight Ariana she was in her room crying I didn't know what to do I was lost but I ran my instincts were telling me to get to Ariana so I did I barged into her door and then next thing I saw made my heart break a million times Ariana was covered in cuts and bruises I didn't know what else to think Ariana was just fine when I met her the other day what happened I ran straight to Ariana without thinking about anything that was going to happen to me for entering other packs territories or my family I just knew I had to get Ariana safe I grabbed Ariana into my arms and said Ariana what happened she looked at me with tears in her eyes and tears down her face and said Mom and dad they're getting they're not only stepping down from the platform but they're getting a divorce and Mom's blaming me so she's hitting me and beating me I'm scared she told Devon I know I said I can't help you very much but I'm going to take you to our pack huh Ariana said can't enter your pack territory they'll find you they'll kill you and your family both not if we're in our pack territory but your pack will kill me not if they know why you're there they won't I she said not aware she should but she did and now Devin was in his wolf form and Ariana was on his back and human form and they were running fast they made it out of moon packed territory and made it straight into the beach pack territory which is not a good idea for an outsider but he ran straight to his parents his parents knew a healer in the pack that could help Ariana told him what had happened and they were willing to let Ariana stay but that didn't mean Ariana still feel safe but she had Devon and that was more than she had when she was at her path and of course Devon had to tell his parents as to why he had Ariana here she explained that him and Ariana were mates and that they've been secretly dating for a few days now so their parents allowed it is there anything we can do other than helping you his mother asked no ma'am Ariana said thank you though of course sweetie
