Chapter 1

Luffy's POV

I woke up to the sound of my brother's alarm. It was 6 in the morning and Ace was working at 7. Everyday, I had to go through all of this, but it was fine, i guess.

Today, it was the first day of school since summer break ended. I was excited to see all my friends again but I was having this stress everyone has about their friends being in different classes.

I got out of bed and went straight to Ace's room. "Oi, Ace wake up! You're going to be late for work!" I said as i punched the alarm clock.

I went to the kitchen to make myself cereals as Ace came after me to sit at the table. "So are you ready for your first day buddy?" Ace said while taking the newspaper to read it.

"Yeah, I mean I can't wait to see Zoro and the others again" I said.

"What about girls? Aren't you interested in some of them?" Ace said with a smirk on his face.

"Ehh nah, not interested. Don't wanna waste my time on them." I said.

"Not even Nico Robin?" Ace said

"Too serious and as I said, i'm interested in no girls" I said

"Ok then" Ace said

My brother was always asking me when I was going to get a girlfriend but I had no interest in them. In fact, being in a relationship would take too much of my time.

"Oh by the way, Zoro called yesterday, he said he would pick you up this morning to get to school" Ace said.

"Zoro, huh? At what time!!" I said with a big smile on my face.

"I think he told me around 7:30 so you have a lot of time to make yourself prepared before then" Ace said

"Can't wait!" I said while standing up "I'm going to
get changed!"

Zoro and I were best friends, but since I was gone for the whole summer with my brother Sabo to visit my dad in another city, I couldn't get to see him even once.

"Ok, I'm leaving Luffy, good luck at school" Ace said

"You too brother! Shishishi " I said

Ace left and I went straight to my room to get changed into my uniform. It was a black and red uniform and black pants.

Once I finished, I came back to the kitchen to take another bowl of cereal because I was still hungry. It made me think how much I missed Sanji's food. I've been dreaming about eating his cooking all summer because it really was the best in the world. It's not like I missed Sanji only for his cooking though, I missed him for his personality and the vibe he brings to the group, especially when he and Zoro fight over stupid things, it's hilarious.

I then thought about Usopp and Chopper who were the funniest in the group, always acting like clowns with me and that's why they were my friends. Chopper is a bit shy around others but around us, he is so funny and is always making jokes, like putting sticks in his nose and dance with me. Usopp is a bit coward but when it brings his friends, he can be the one of the bravest man.

"God I can't wait to see them" I said as I smiled

An hour passed as I received a text from Zoro saying he was outside waiting for me. I quickly put my phone in my pocket and ran outside.

"Oi Zoro! I missed you guys a lot, I'm so happy to see you guys again!!" I said as I grinned.

"Hurry up you idiot! We're already late for school! Zoro said.

"That's because you got lost on the way here marimo!" Sanji said.

"Oh yeah? Then do you want to drive, stupid cook?! Zoro said as he gave Sanji a glance.
