The Biggest Mistake

As much as I hated school, I hated being the person that every boy went after. Shadow came to school usually but she ended up disappearing to the office to do a few things for someone. James kept looking at me as if he wanted more then just fun with me and I constantly ignored him. I walked to class as usual with Shadow, everyone watching her they kept their heads down from the little showdown that was about to happen between Shadow and James. 

James jumps behind Shadow and gropes her boobs "Good morning!" James said smirking and  Shadow growled through clenched teeth "what happened James I thought you went gay?" Shadow said loud enough for the whole school to hear then she grabbed his hands and pulled, he went flying over her landing on his back hard Shadow then put her boot on his face "you really need to get a life stop turning up in my face" Shadow yelled James looked up "but your my sister we live together how can I not?" James asked then wimped "What! your sister and brother" I yelled every one looked shocked Shadow grabbed him by his shirt "you idiot" Shadow growled then punch him so that he went flying 3 feet away "he was a pre-cum baby he was not wanted don't remember what happened today  or i'll hurt you" Shadow said with glowing eyes i nodded fast with a smile.

Me and Shadow were walking then stopped when a black limo pulled up near the school gates out stood a tall man i couldn't  see his eyes for he wore sunglasses his hair was blonde it looked as if he didn't care for his hair it was left messy but it was clean for it shined from the sun light he was very well-built he look really fit word to describe him would be  breathtaking, mysterious and stubborn from the way he wouldn't let the pink haired girl hold his arm "Damien please may i hold your arm" the pink haired girl begged "no Rose" "why not?" "my arm hurts from sleeping on it on the way to school in the limo" he said running his hand through his blond curls "Katie you there?" Shadow said punching me lightly on the arm " huh.. oh yes I'm here it just that boy..." I said with a little blush as I found him looking at me I couldn't really tell if he was or not but I had this feeling inside hoping he was "no way your not like crushing on the new boy already are you?" "I think your brother has a crush on me and I'm new" "I told you not to bring that up bitch anyway he humps every thing that a girl even his own sister well he try's can't say he learns well" Shadow said punching me again but harder this time.

three race cars came out of nowhere one of the race cars windows were down out came a flying coke bottle and it hit Damien's head "sucker" a silver haired guy yelled "please don't pull up at the school gates" Shadow mumbled the three cars pulled up at the school gates "shit" Shadow said "lets go now" a blue haired girl said "your talking to a bin sis" Shadow said the blue haired girl turn around "well I am blind you know" she said hitting something with her walking stick "you just hit the new guy Rain " Shadow said "what the hell" Damien yelled Rain walked away and bumped into one of the guy that got out of the race cars his hair was black with red in it he looked like a short emo "hello blood bag" he said showing a grin that sent shivers down my spin Rain looked up "I have a bad felling about this girl"  Rain said the boy looked dumbfound for a second "I'm a guy and my name is Rick what blood type are you?" Rick asked "well I'm rainbow why" "what rainbow?" "yes cause when I died I'll be a rainbow I don't give a flying fuck if you say that's wired" Rain said hitting  him on the head with her walking stick "come with me sis" Shadow said pulling Rain over to where I stood shacking like a leaf "this is Rain, Rain meet Katie" Shadow said  "hello I thought Katie was a girls name ALL well" Rain said then she patted Katie's head "good doggy" Rain said then walked off before long she was climbing  up a tree and then she was gone "she just got out of a mental hospital" Shadow said then Katie looked back to the blond boy the pink haired girl  Rose was helping him get the coke out of his now dirty hair something told me my life was about to get epic and scary maybe even sexy.   

My eyes opened slowly, it was a first for me i slept through english class I've never slept in class before it must be because of my busy day of following Shadow and Rain around it was as if every where I went the new guy Damien would follow I'm not just saying that because I may like him but I went to the girls bathroom and when I came out there he was I ran into him coming out of the bathroom, ok, he may have been going to the boys bathroom which is right next to the girls bathroom dumb this guy has me messed up and I've only known him for what like a day now "oh sleeping beauty has finally awaken" Shadow said packing up her books I got a short look at her books 'Ways To Feed On Animals' was one of them the other I got a look at was 'How To Tell Someone What They Are Really' "what's with the books Shadow?" i asked Shadow eyed me down her eyes went red for a split seacond maybe it was just because of the sun "oh you mean my Cook books i'm learning how to cook for my mother" Shadow said with a small smile.

"I didn't see any cook books? just two one about feeding on animals and the other about telling someone something?" I asked Shadow looked up then down "you'll see why soon just not now it's not time yet" Shadow said my eyes widened when Shadow moved her head to my ear her warm breath tickeled my ear "you'll know when it's time trust me Katie" Shadow said before grabbing her bag and leaving the room what was that about I got up and grabbed my bag also but voices stopped me from leaving the room it was coming from the room next door I slowly walked up to the door and peeked through one of the windows it was Damien and some blond chick "so what did you want to talk to me about love" she said moving close to Damien, Damien moved his face really close to her they were so close one move and they'll be kissing was i about to watch the new guy make love to a women no way I better go I was turning away from the window when I heard a female like scream my head turn around fast what i saw was scary.

Damien had sharp teeth that were in her neck, blood made its way down the chicks throat the site of blood didn't make me feel sick like when I was younger my gums hurt I ran my tongue over my front teeth they were shaper then usual what was happening why did I feel hungry at the site of blood and amazed by how her heart beat picked up it was beating really fast with fear Damiens head truned my way as if he knew someone was standing there his eyes widened when he saw it was me blood stained his lips why was that a turn on? But then he started to walk my way, hang on he just bit a girl and drunk her blood psycho and a sicko I turned around fast then ran as if my life depended on it.

That night my dreams were different I wasn’t hunted like every other dream I’ve had since I was four years old this dream was bleary and so real like I could hear my breathing getting louder my voice was hollow stiff my movement was slow as if I was trying not to scare my pray like a lion on the hunt this kill was important I’d die if I didn’t feed what did I hunger for?.

This smell so fine I could taste its scent on my tongue my hunger was deep I needed more than just the scent but the whole thing I could hear a girls cries my head went down to see a girl about 16 or maybe 17 years old her arm had claw marks down them “stay away you beast stay away!” she screamed what me a beast my hunger now was at its fullest I tried to stop it but my mouth opened and blood blared my vision.

"AR" i screamed as I awoke hot and sweaty, sweat dripped down my cheek this dream was so real “it’s not real I didn’t just kill someone” I said to myself but speaking my mind made it more real (not real, Not real) it was the only thing that went through my mind the whole night I felt as if morning was to never come and I would be just sitting here all night I fear what was happening to me my body felt like it was changing but not in a good way oh how I felt so bad in that dream.

Mr Green was writing on the board with a white chalk, her back was turned away from the class many were writing on their books, some drawing random stuff, the rest were sleeping and me only I could do was listen and watch, the clock it went tic, tock, tic, tock, my mind was blank it was hard for me not to say random word when Mr Green asked me a question.

“Now class you’ll need to remember most of the work here on the board is for your upcoming test in 8 weeks on Monday, okay please finish the work on the board before resting” Mr Green said all I could do was watch her throat as she spoke (it was just a dream) I reminded myself someone was watching YouTube on their computer my eyes widened in shock.

1. They were watching the news I mean what teenager watches the news.

2. It was her, the girl from my dreams getting put in a body bag.

I could read most of what the nice looking news women was saying “women killed at Green Hell by some animal we are thinking maybe a bear because of the large bit marks or a really big wolf but we all know they don’t exist” it was all  I could get, I’m not that good at lip reading.

Katie's body went hollow it was hard for her to breath her lips went dry the Qestion she keeped asking her self after that was "did I kill her?".
