(Previously called "His Luna")
Sierra Grey, 19 and fresh out of high-school. Born into to the Blue Moon Pack, with her father being the Alpha. She's always had so much responsibility when it came to taking care of her little brother William because...
It was May 25th, I had just recently graduated high-school, I know, it's weird for a 19 year old to graduate, but I had missed so much school with my mom passing away when the roges attacked 2 years ago. So i repeated a year.
I had taken up some extra tasks in the pack that normally my dad, the Alpha, would have taken care of, but he'd lost a lot of his motivation to do much when he lost mom. It was a huge loss to our pack, losing the Luna the way we did, but the roges just wouldn't give up. We haven't had any attacks happen since, cause my father upped security around the borders and demanded extra training for anyone over 14. He wanted to train my little brother William, but he's only 12, and I wouldn't allow him to ruin his childhood more than it was.
Normally, on calm nights before the accident, I'd be able to run free in the woods with no care in the world, but now I wasn't allowed into the woods when night came. Saza, my wolf, resented our father for restricting our freedom, but quickly shut down when our father used his Alpha command. So now we keep our runs to the day, sometimes sneaking off to a little pond William and I found on a walk, it's deep in the woods and hidden behind trees. It's outside the border, but not too far, close enough that I can run back if needed.
After a long day, I decided to take a run in the woods. Saza, was a beautiful white wolf, with black spots speckling her paws. I shifted and ran for what seemed like 2 hours before I let Saza have some control, letting her stretch her legs.
We arrived at the pond hidden deep in the woods, flodded with memories of William playing in the water. We dipped our head down, lapping up the cool water, replenish our energy. Our legs were sore from running at top speed. I took back control, deciding to take a nap in the soft grass, I curled up, pulling my tail to my face, shielding my eyes from the suns rays.
After about 20 minutes of basking in the sun, the most mouth watering smell filled my nose. It smelled of rain and the earth mixed with a little bit of cinnamon. I lifted my head and scanned my eyes through the trees, when suddenly they landed, making eye contact with beautifully bright golden eyes.
Saza jumped and screamed excitedly inside my head, " MATE! MATE!".
I didn't want a mate, not now, not ever, not after seeing what losing one did to my father. I also wasn't ready to give up my freedom. So I did the only thing that popped into my head, and ran home. My heart was racing and Saza yelled at me through our mindlink.
"Why are you running from our mate?", "Please turn around, I really want our mate!", I couldn't take it anymore so I blocked her out so I could think clearly.
I finally made it home as tge sun was setting and the moon was rising. I shifted back into my human form, grabbing a long blue dress from a tree and tossed it on. It was normal for packs to hide clothes in the trees for when we shifted back. I ran up the stairs leading to a L-shaped porch and in through the front door. The kitchen was just beyond the door, we weren't rich, but we were definitely well off. The kitchen was big and had a hallway off to the side that led to the living room. Past the living room was another hallway and a staircase leading upstairs to all the bedrooms.
I ran into my room, happy no one was home. The Alpha, my father, was at the pack house along with my little brother taking care of pack business. At least that's what he says, but I know it's a lie and he just wants to bond with William. He tends to ignore me and tries to avoid me as much as he can, unless he's forced to be around me. I know it's cause I look like my mother. I have her thick, long brown hair with tight curls, her hazel eyes, her full pink lips and her tanned complexion. My body is toned with her wide set hips and bigger chest, I was a mirror image of my mother.

Saza then pushed through the mind block I had set. " Why did you run?", she asked, anger seeping through her words.
I didn't respond and rushed into my room, locking the door and heading to the door that lead to my personal bathroom. I quickly turned on the hot water and tossed the dress onto the floor, stepping into the shower. The hot water relaxed my muscles, but my mind raced as Saza kept questioning me.
"Saza, you know I don't want a mate. You've seen father, why would I wanna risk going through that exact same thing?" I snapped back. "It would be better if we just forgot about it all together and moved on from the subject." Saza whimpered at my words. I felt bad denying her a mate, but I just wished she'd understand why I didn't want one.
I finished my shower and got dressed into a silky blue nightgown and put my hair up in a bun letting some curls frame my face. I brushed my teeth all the while Saza stayed quiet.
I heard the front door downstairs open. I cursed under my breath and unlocked my door. My father had a very strict no locking doors rule. I heard footsteps climb the stairs and the smell of my brother got stronger. He lightly nocked on the door.
"You can come in" I said out loud. He opened the door and had a big smile on his face has he hid his hands behind his back. "I got you something!" He yipped excitedly. He ran over to my bed and stood next to where I was sitting. He then quickly pulled out a small handful of tiny purple flowers. "They are beautiful! Are they for me?" A smile spreading across my lips. He nodded and ran to my dresser and put them in the little vase I kept for when he brought home flowers.
He turned to look at me, smiled softly and ran away. He was a cute little kid, but he got super shy everytime he did something he considered 'girly'. It made me giggle.
I got up and reclosed my door and headed back to my bed. I layed under a light blanket and closed my eyes, but I couldn't get those golden eyes out of my mind. I tossed and turned for what felt like forever as I kept pushing the images out of my head. Finally, I started to drift off to sleep, with those damn golden eyes stuck in my head.
