A little while passed after the UA entrance exams. Y/n makes another daily trip to his local post office, since he and Orochimaru live underground... Literally. He walks inside and up to the counter. The worker looks at him and waves.
Yns pov---
Worker: Today's the day Y/n, the letter arrived a few hours ago
Y/n: Thank you Charlie.
I respond as he hands me my letter from UA. The piece of paper that would decide whether or not I would be allowed to attend my dream school. Despite having reason to believe that I had achieved at least a satisfactory sum of points, the nerves still got to me. Not knowing my score had been at the front of my mind since the exam, and I never was as confident in myself as Orochimaru is. I bid Charlie farewell and he wished me good luck. Ten minutes later, I enter my home. A compound of tunnels and rooms, all hidden beneath the ground of a small house. I don't even know who lives there, and I highly doubt they even know Orochimaru's compound exists, below their very feet. Nevertheless I enter the place that I had grown to call my home. Inside the dining chamber sat Orochimaru himself, looking over charts as he eats his dinner. His lab coat and other attire still on, he barely ever wears anything else.
Yn: Orochimaru! I got my letter from UA.
He immediately looks up and smiles gently towards me.
Orochimaru: Y/n, my child. Welcome home. Now that you have the letter, let's open it and put your silly doubts to rest.
He spoke in his usual accent, drawing out certain sounds like the "sss" sound. A trait that I also share. He's always been supportive of me, always telling me about my vast potential and powerful mind, while also pushing me to be my best. When he is around, I feel at ease. So without hesitation I tear open the envelope only to discover not a letter but a silver disk made of metal. Confused, I place it on the table in front of me. A few seconds pass, but before I know it an image appears above the disk. A video showing Allmight, the symbol of peace.
Video Allmight: Hello there young l/n! I am here, to give you your test results. I am pleased to announce that you have passed the UA entrance exam with an astounding 150 points. A sum made up of both combat points and a secret category of points, rescue points! You showed bravery and the resolve to keep strangers out of harms way even while competing against them. It is with great pleasure that I hereby notify you of your acceptance into the UA hero course. Your homeroom is class 1-A. You'll report there on the first day of school. We at UA see great things in your future.
With that, the hologram faded away leaving me dumbstruck.
Orochimaru: Told you there was no reason to worry. I'm proud of you Y/n.
