Zak spent time to time with Darryl in the hospital along with making sure assignments that were due during his week in the hospital. Eventually the week was over but Zak noticed that some bandages wrapped on Darryl's arms weren't going away. Was something up? But he didn't want to push it, plus he wasn't in so much pain so he didn't think it was anything. Eventually the nurse gave somethings to Darryl as Zak helps Darryl while he carried Lucy.
They soon arrive to Darryl's place, Zak wanted him to rest after long stressing and painful days for him.

"Oh Darryl, before we go inside, just be prepared."

"Wha-"

"Just walk in.."

Darryl slowly opens the door then Zak turns on the lights.

Darryl was just shocked to his friends, even Tubbo, Tommy, and Ranboo from what happened.  They all looked happy to see Darryl his back but he got surprised when he was hugged. He sees that it was Jef. Jef was of course happy to see him, because he knew Good was extremely upset about what happened and he saw Darryl as like Zak's happiness.
Darryl was adored by Jef hugged but he didn't show much, he just patted him and looks at everyone which then they all hugged Darryl.

"I don't understand why y'all are doing this.."

George just smiles as the others stop hugging him.

"We care about you, you're our friend. Your happiness is important to all of us, especially Zak. That's why he did all of this. Maybe thank him from behind."

"Wait what-"

Darryl looks behind him to see Zak and he was holding a hoodie. His blue hoodie.

"Zak I don't understand-"

"We'll, Darryl while you were recovering, I felt upset about what you told me so I wanted to make this special, most of us brought you gifts so in this case Im giving you my hoodie you wore once."

Darryl blushes slightly as he takes it.

"Ya know... Sometimes I still question how stupid you are.."

Darryl kisses his cheek as a sign of thank you from him and all his friends are surprised.

"So are you guys even dating? "

Ant asked and Darryl shakes his head.

"Nope, anything just friends.. Maybe best friends.."

Darryl looks at Zak then winks as he blushes more than before.

They were all just hanging out for the night as even they eventually left, all except Zak, Good, and Jef.

(Mae is gonna kill me in this session)

Darryl was on the couch as Zak was next to him watching stuff. Mainly because he gave Good his room for today.

"Darryl, are you not sleepy?"

"A little, why?.."

"Do you want to get some sleep?'

"Um... Sure I guess.."

Zak gets up as Darryl laid down. He comes back and puts a blanket on Darryl but saw that he was alseep. Zak giggled as he went next to him and wrapped him in a blanket, then wrapped his arms around him slowly falling asleep.

Good and Jef were in Darryl's room mainly since Jef was staying over because Zak was.

Good was just sitting on the bed playing video games as Jef watched. As they were there Jef slowly fell asleep, resting his head on Good's shoulder. Good looks over and a slight blush is on his face but he did put too much thought. He started patting his head as he sighed.

"Good, you okie?.."

"I'm fine just thinking, nothing personal."

Jef just smiled as he hugged Good.

As Darryl and Zak were talking and playing games. Zak for some reason felt like he wanted to have more fun, he remembered what Darryl to him before so he wanted to do it back.

"hey Darryl"

Zak said with a smile as Darryl looks at him with a confused look.

"Wanna see something cool"

Darryl raised a eyebrow confused on why Zak was just being suspicious but he just didn't care, Zak was just being Zak.

"Sure?.."

"Great! Lemme see your hands"

"Um.... Okie?"

Darryl gave Zak his hands but he didn't grab his hands. Zak grabbed Darryl's wrist but not with a tight grip. Darryl just looked so confused but shocked a bit. But he didn't get to ask questions as he felt himself be pushed on the bed. Zak was pinning him down.

"Zak, what in the muffin saint are you doing?!.."

Darryl gave a angry expression but Zak smirked as he chuckled.

"This is what you get for what you did to me idiot."

"Dont call me idiot you goofball and let me go, I don't want Good or Jef to fucking think we're being weird.."

Zak got off as he kept a smile being so proud but Darryl made a small growl. Zak just found it adorable. Eventually Darryl just wrapped himself on a blanket and laid down trying to pretend to be mad at Zak.

"Come on, I don't mean what I did to you!.."

Zak said as he sighed. But he sat next to Darryl on the bed, as he pats him actually causing Darryl to fall asleep. He heard a soft snoring from Darryl and immediately smiled as he pats him one last time and leaves off the bed to let him rest.
