"You have to have your card pass sir."

"I was invited directly by the CEO and wasn't informed of the card pass."

How long will this argument last again? I'm like 15 minutes late off of the start of the Make-up show and yet here I am stuck in the entrance. Some random guy whose ahead of me is having an issue with his card pass whatever and we're the only ones left out infront of the building. I came last in line, yes and how much longer do i have to wait?

"Excuse me, may I go in first?"

The guard-guy was about to let me pass after checking my card pass when the guy butted in.

"I'm first in line, have some manners please."

I stood appalled, manners?

"Call the CEO for me."

What a freak!

I'm getting later than expected and the show might end at this rate. The guard didn't bugde one bit as he resumed arguing with the guy. Patience cut, I dialed Ms. Anders' number with a hard face.

"Ms. Anders,"

{Amar, you're late. I'm so disappointed. This was your last chance and you just flunked it.}

"No Ms. Anders, sorry for being late but I'm actually at the entrance and having a difficult time passing through."

Both the guard and the guy stood looking at me as I signaled the guard to wait as I explained the situation.

"I actually have a company with me today. Sorry for telling it just now but I didn't know they'd be strict with the entrance coz they're not letting us through."

She only sighed and told me to pass the phone to the guard and only then he let us through. What a hassle. I dragged myself inside and as soon as I stepped in the bright-wide room, loud music and chatters amongst the audience rang. The stage is well-designed and models of various make-up look are now walking about the manmade stage up front.

"Is it that you know me or are you trying to get to know me?"

I tilted my head to the guy standing beside me as a seriously looked closer to his bare face. No, I don't know him.

"Was that suppose to be your thank you?"

I raised a brow as he only stared. Well, his face is very much proportioned and his skin is, yes nearly perfect; a common celebrity face but I don't know a celebrity that lingers around a make-up show though. I ignored him as I walked straight at the back stage where Ms. Anders told me to run to as soon as I got here and there I saw sorts of make-up tools and make-up things around the place with all the models goin' off about the premises. Wow.

"Amar."

I smiled and walked to Ms. Anders as I kept my pace with her with wide open eyes and ears at her every instructions and explanations on every what-not regarding the make-up usage and application. I was more than honored to have an official tutoring with a great woman in the industry as her so every word she said I took note of it.

"Ms. Anders!"

Then a woman in barely my age came running telling Ms. Anders that one model got injured and can't continue the show-off.

"Make sure the medics get to him asap."

"Yes Ms. Anders. But what are we supposed to do."

"We cannot just let a model missing. Whose model is he?"

"He's Alicia's and Alicia's got our newly launched countur as her quote."

"We cannot just let this slide. Call everyone for an emergency meeting and fast."
