Juliette walks into studio A with her two best friends James and Eldon by her side. Juliette watches a bunch of other teenagers walk into the room talking. "The next step dance studio is a highly competitive dance studio. So a lot of the elite dancers come here and we're pretty well known for how amazing we are" Emily brags to the camera

Kate walks around "get focused ok? This is serious stuff. A-troupe auditions" The dancers start warming up excited yet nervous for the auditions.

"There's J troupe which is like junior troupe, and then we have B troupe, which is more like recreational kids, basically A troupe is the highest level at the next step." Juliette says to the camera smiling.

"I want to dance in A troupe because it's the only team that gets to compete at regionals. It gets you the most exposure, I don't want to dance with B troupe. Says James.

"At those big competitions there are scouts from all over the world, so being in A troupe means that you're going to be seen and if you're going to be seen, you can get a career in dance." Daniel exclaims to the camera

"As I'm getting ready for the auditions I get really nervous, I worked really hard in B troupe last year and I know that A troupe is where I belong, so If I don't make it I'm going to be crushed" says Chloe

"A lot of people from B troupe auditions to get into A troupe so they can go to regionals but the A troupers need to audition every year too like me, it's going to be my third year in A troupe once I make it in." Juliette says

"Kate makes us re-audition every year, "No spot is guaranteed."But this will be my third year in it and my second year as co-dance captain with Julie, hopefully. It's no secret I'm going to be in A troupe again." Emily says to the camera.

Juliette is warming up talking to James and Eldon wondering if they're going to make it into A troupe together "Guys were obviously going to make it, we're like the three best dancers here" James reassures them making the two nod along in agreement moving on to laughing about random things. "Dolphin tail!" Chris walks in making all of them start copying him and Juliette almost falling out of her needle in surprise. "That dancers is the first dolphin tail of the year, congratulations!" Applauded Chris making the rest start clapping too.

Juliette's warming up and she looks across the room to see the e-girls talking, she was friends with them but she knew how they could be annoying sometimes. "There's only 11 spots open in A troupe just because at most competitions you need 11 dancers." Emily said "I am super nervous because you just never know. Once year you can be in A troupe and the next you can be demoted." Tiffany says.

Julie and James watched the E girls hugging each other and doing handshakes making them snicker about how weird they looked, Juliette would never say it out loud but they reminded her of a wanna be mean girls.

"The e-girls are an elite group that I started when I got into A troupe two years ago. I don't know why Julie doesn't want to be in the E-girls I mean I love her and we're all best friends so just like join!?" Emily said to the camera not knowing why her best friend wouldn't join.
"I will never join the E-girls, I already have bad memory I would not be able to handle remembering 100 ridiculous rules." Juliette chuckled

"So let's begin auditions for A troupe!" says Kate looking at all of them.

"All right dancers! Let's do this, group one, I have Daniel, Stephanie, West, Juliette and Emily!" James and Eldon chuckle knowing how Juliette just said how she didn't want to be in the first group, they pat her on the back and Juliette walks to the middle of the floor glaring at her friends.
