Two weeks of constant surveillance and all he'd gotten from his efforts was that Henroin truly was the bossiest person he'd ever seen. And for good reason; the man was constantly telling people to do things. Most importantly, though, he made a lot of phone calls down to Project Management. The phone calls had varied from everything from numbers, to telling whoever was in charge of Project Management ideas, and occasionally dinner. He couldn't tell if Project Management was a woman or a man, but by the way he spoke to them, he was assuming it was a man, and a very capable one at that. They talked often, and a good portion of their conversations were in straight Italian. No mix of English with the occasional Italian word like everyone else, it was flat out, one hundred percent one language. Having to translate every recorded conversation was not the highlight of his days, especially when they all ended up being boring business chatter. Finally, though, he felt like he had a handle on his next move. Lucifer hadn't given him a timeline for this little project, so he'd given himself one. His goal was one year, which seemed like a long time, given his normal pacing, but with an intensive project like this, it could take a while. The King was insistent that it wasn't Henroin, and he wanted to make sure he wasn't going to miss any evidence to prove it was when he went back.

Staring down at his notes, he started looking for inconsistencies as Gregory placed the tray beside him on the desk and started pouring the tea. "How many kids does the Don have, again?" The rat thought for a moment.

"If I remember correctly, he has three, why?" He finished pouring and placed the cup and saucer in front of Pentious before moving to his own desk.

"Then why do we only have notes on one. The daughter; Molly. Where are the other two?" He looked up at the rat who quickly gulped down the mouthful of tea and moved back over to look at the notes over Pentious' shoulder.

"I know that, there was something wrong with one of them."

"Wrong?" His assistant raced back to his desk and dug through his own papers before finding what he was looking for.

"The youngest son was disowned, and is of no importance. He died almost three years prior to the event and his whereabouts are... skewed." He narrowed his gaze on the rat suspiciously.

"Skewed how?" Gregory took another sip of his tea before walking back to Pentious.

"I have reports of him being seen in numerous different places, and some even think he's a popular porn star, but nobody can officially say anything. Apparently he was disowned before any of them actually died." Pentious nodded. That meant that the man was most definitely not the Overlord. Too many things eliminated him; when he'd died, his familial status, his possible occupation, no, it definitely wasn't him.

"What about the last child?" He glanced down at his pages and frowned. "Another son? Wouldn't a Don want to parade his son around? If Henroin truly is the Overlord, don't you think he'd show off both of his children like trophies?"

"All of the other Overlords with children do, but this one seems very elusive. We know he exists, and we know he's still within the family, but I have so many different reports of the man it's insane."

"Different how?" The rat handed him his notebook and Pentious squinted at the various notes. The man's handwriting wasn't bad, but the reports themselves didn't make sense. Some said he was a large man, like his father, and terrifying at that. Others said he was petite and pretty. Some said he was black, some said he was white, some said he was a spider, others a scorpion. It was like nobody could decide what the man looked like enough to even give them a hint. Also, none of the reports could tell him where to look for the son at all. Some insisted he was a runner, others a collector, with the occasional report that he was just on the payroll and didn't actually do anything. "How does any of this make sense? Someone must know what this man looks like and does. What's the point in hiding a child?"
