You wake up, your hair is messy and tangled, you climb down from your loft bed and into your 2 room rooftop apartment it's small yet simple.

The only other room is the at bathroom that you don't often use, under your loft bed is a desk that slots perfectly in between two walls, 1 is the wall that's part of the bathroom, the other is a small living room, it's only half a wall though, because you like the airy feel to houses, but saying that your home is cluttered none the less.

You stumble to your small kitchen and start making some chai tea to try help yourself wake up a bit, after having your tea you decide it would be best to at least try be slightly productive today and get changed into some comfy grey knee length shorts, you can only really wear shorts because of the shape of you legs, you slipon a green 3 quarter length leaves shirt. You slip a conselent stone on your wrist to hide your horns and grab a wooden mask and your abnormally long, hooded cape.

After grabbing a bag and start making your way down the windows to to the night market below, you then get the not so genius idea of stealing from the Palace

"What could go wrong" you mumble to yourself sarcastically

You end up going anyway and end up getting inside after cause a massive puff of green smoke at all the guards posted points making it easy to slip inside, after a while of looking around you decide you should actually try to get some stuff

"Now let's see..."you glance into a massive room filled with all types of small treasures!

How could you resist! You stuff small trinkets in your bag until you come across a small yet flamboyant mirror, it was about the size of a scroll, as you go to pick it up, you get distracted admiring your mask and you tilt the mirror to get a better look at the carving in the side, you see a guard! It didn't look like a normal guard but what does it matter?!

You let out a small scream and dart out the room looking for a place to hide in, after a couple second all you could find was a plant, even though you know it wouldn't hide you it was better than nothing! You slide behind the plant and press your knees against your chest tightly you can sense and hear the guard practically sprinting out the room after recovering from their shock.

They seem to not notice you but as they start walking past they stand on your long
tail that you forgot to tuck in with you,

" ARGH "
You screech,

The crunch that your tail had made when guard stepped on your tail with their heavy boots echoed through your head

"Watch it mate!"

You yell out defensively, the guard however is practically frozen on the spot, you get up and tower over the thin small guard that was staring at you, you could sense their fear and disbelief as you start talking to them

"Did no one teach you that it's rude to
stare?"

You said jokingly but the guard just keeps watching you

"Anyways, I should be on my way now,"

you were about to make a portal as an escape when you hear a voice from behind you

"Stop! Y-you aren't going anywhere!"

the guard yells, you're surprised he got the courage to talk to you, even he seems surprised that he's talking to you!

"And, who's this talkin'?" You ask annoyingly

"I am the Golden Guard and I command you to s-stay here!"
He stuttered obviously still a bit scared
