Times ticking, why does it have to be so slow? I've waited all my life for this and it's ruined... I have the best job I was looking into dating but now... he has to ruin it. I don't understand him, he is weird but charming. Being the cavalry captain you would think he'd be nice and understanding but no...

"Y/n!" I turn around to see the man with the most beautiful night blue hair, he was smiling and waving, sword on his side and he's taking his gloved off. Sure I found him a bit attractive but, it's understandable, his voice is smooth and soft. "Hey Kaeya!" I smile at him, kaeya walks over to me. As I am sitting on the grass there's a lot of groom for me and him to sit but, he decides to sit right next to me. "I love Saturdays, don't you?" He asks, picking up a dandelion, "well yes but, why?" He laughs, "it's payday Y/n, I get paid for doing basically nothing except taking care of some stupid hilichurls." I make eye contact, usually I would look down but sometimes I just like looking straight into people's eyes to see if they are happy or just being a bitch. "Oh, fair enough Kaeya."

After an hour me and him walk around, I decide I want to leave , go home and make some tea then go into the bath and read.

"I'm going to head home now, I hope we can talk again soon!" I smile, his demeanour drops, "Oh... alright love, see you... soon."

When I get home, I take care of the pets then go make tea whilst running a nice cold bath, grabbing the book I have been trying to read for what seems like forever, I take my tea and go into the bath. After the bath I get changed into some normal sleeping clothes, if I even decide to sleep, going over some paper work I have to do before sun rise.

Waking up in the morning was different, I wake up on my desk, surrounded by my light and my puppy/kitty next to me, I get up, going to go get ready and leaving. I left my home, it's 6:34 in the morning and i here familiar voices. I see Jean and Loise on a date with the traveler with diluc and paimon, "Y/n! Wow we did see ewo there fairly soon," Kaeya is right in front of me, smiling, "Oh! I didn't know you lived around here.." I laugh, this is awkward... "Oh I dont, but duty calls you know hahaha..." His laugh is hiding something but it's not my right to know.

Kaeya wanted to take me somewhere private, I had nothing planned really, so whilst going I put the paperwork into the letter box and carried on following him, up to the top of dragon spine, it's cold and getting late, what was the reason? "Why are we here?" I ask, I'm cold and tired ready to leave, "Well you see Y/n... I feel like there is a connection between us..." He stares into my eyes, I'm worried, "what do you mean Kaeya...?" He laughs, " I love you y/n-" " WHAT— Kaeya I'm sorry but I don't feel the same way..." He's laughing so psychotically... "If I can't have you... no one can my love..."

I was pushed...
I've been falling to eternity it feels like...
