Fifteen years have passed, Leo is now a teenager. Thanks to the love and care of the Eclipsis couple, he grew up to be a righteous and kind boy.
When he was just a toddler, Leo has shown great interest in swords. This is not a problem, however, the knights of the Duchess are still looking for him and having the blood of Solis, he will surely get recognized easily.
Although Leo is righteous and kind, he is also stubborn. His interest for swords as he grew up did not disappear, rather, it became stronger.
The city of Telorum is full of mercenaries and adventurers. This is what made him more interested in swordsmanship. All because he was surrounded by Aura Knights.
One day, Leo saw a girl getting harassed by other teenagers around his age. He went up to them and confronted them.
"What are you guys doing?! Can't you see that she doesn't want anything to do with you guys?", Leo said to the bullies as he went to the girl's side.
This incident made the teenagers mad, they started picking on Leo instead of the girl.
"So you want to be a hero huh? Fine, I will let the girl go but you have to stay here. From now on, you will be our lackey. I will be your boss, I am Drake. The green haired boy beside me is Verde, he's your superior", Drake mockingly said to Leo.
Leo couldn't believe what they just said. It was an unreasonable proposition. Leo thought of escaping. He threw sand at Drake's face and then grabbed the girl by her hand and started running with her.
"CATCH HIM!", Drake exclaimed.
They ran away and then hid in an alley. Leo looked at the girl and noticed something strange. It seems like the girl is not worried at all about what's happening to them at the moment.
"Hey, are you alright? Just stay here with me for a while, they're almost gone", Leo worriedly said to the girl.
Leo looked outside the alley and checked but suddenly, something hit him from behind and this made him lose consciousness.
Leo woke up, with his hands tied. He saw the girl and Drake talking and flirting with each other. The truth shocked Leo.
Verde noticed that Leo's woken up and immediately informed Drake.
"Look who's here, our wannabe Hero. Ha-ha-ha, you actually fell for our scheme? This girl's name is Iyah, she's with us. Aren't you surprised?", Drake asked Leo.
The first thought that Leo had was to find out how to escape from them. Unluckily, before he even had the chance to get out of the situation, Leo got beaten up by Drake and Verde.
"Since its your first time here, I'll let you go pretty boy. If you ever come back to this place again and do what you just did, you might just lose your life", Drake arrogantly said to Leo.
Leo walked home, with bruises on every part of his body. On his way home, he saw an Aura Knight. He felt their strength just by seeing them. Leo knew that he was weak, he is not fit to save someone. He needs strength.
"I will become an Aura Knight, I will be strong enough so that I can protect the weak and everyone important to me", Leo said to himself.
After that day, Leo started making his plans. To avoid the eyes of his grandparents, Leo travels everyday to the Forest of Libertas. He always comes home on time so his grandparents didn't have to worry about him.
"If I'm here then no one can see me. Not my grandparents, not anyone. As this is the secret place that I found for myself", Leo says to himself.
On his way home, Leo saw a hole on one of the walls that leads to the guild's training grounds. Out of curiosity, he crawled inside the hole and finally, he was inside the training grounds.
Secretly, without anyone noticing him, he watched them train. Leo came almost everyday, he memorized their moves. He took notes for the moves that they were using and he even drew figures for it. Leo was smart enough to make a reference guide for himself whenever he trains.

THREE YEARS LATER

Leo has now reached the age of eighteen. His grandparents, growing older, could no longer keep an eye on him as the couple grew sickly each day.
He grew up alone, without friends. It is because of Drake and his gang. Leo couldn't make friends with his peers because of the threats sent by Drake.
"It's been a long time since I've been training. Yet, I just can't seem to manifest aura no matter how hard I tried. I have created my own martial arts by combining all the martial arts I've seen so far. Even without aura, I'm confident that I'll be able to protect myself and my family from those who will try to harm us", Leo anxiously thinks.
Leo goes back home to his grandparents home and suddenly, his grandfather calls for him.
"Leo, my child. I hope you continue to be kind. Never forget our teachings even after me and your grandmother pass away", says Grandfather Eclipsis.
"What do you mean grandfather? Of course I'll always keep your teachings with me and why are you talking like you're going to leave soon? You and grandmother will live hundreds of years", Leo replies to his grandfather.
"Ho ho, as much as I do want to live more years with you, our child. Time is slowly eating away our lives. Do not forget to stay away from the metal that takes away people's lives. Now, go help your grandmother prepare our dinner", Grandfather Eclipsis says to Leo.
Even after eighteen years, the old couple still forbids Leo to use a sword. This is why Leo wears baggy clothes so that his grandparents couldn't find out that he is secretly training.
"Grandmother is the best cook, surely!", Leo proudly shouts.
"Oh, you're so silly Leo. Thank you, my child", Grandmother Eclipsis replied.
"Go rest early Leo, I will help your grandmother wash the dishes then we will rest too", Grandfather Eclipsis said to Leo.
"Okay, don't push yourself too hard and call for me if you need any help", Leo replied.
Leo went up to his room, he went to bed thinking about what he will do for his grandparents so that they can live comfortably.
The next day, Leo did the usual routine. Everything was supposed to be fine but something unexpected happened. It was what changed Leo's life forever.
