Chris POV

As we entered the exhibition, I was mindblown by all the future stuff there, there was a giant globe in the middle with something like a train speeding in the air upside down. I couldn't believe my eyes and I almost lost the other two. When I finally found them I could hear Steve complain about not being able to qualify and go to the field when I shut him up.

"I don't see what your problem is"

"Yeah, you're about to be the last eligible man in New York. You know there's three and a half million women here, right?" Bucky continued, earning a small laugh from Steve "Well, I'd settle for just one" "Good thing I took care of that" Bucky said as he waved at three girls, two brunettes and a blonde. Me and Bucky had met the two brunettes yesterday and we arranged a triple date for us and Steve.

Speaking of Steve, when he saw he blonde it was like he forgot all about enlisting. "What did you tell her about me?" he asked nervous "Only the good things" Bucky said as we met with the girls and went inside.

I heard the announcer say and was again mesmerized cause as we entered there were so many exhibits, but what trully caught my eye was the one in the middle, something looking like a suit, all in red.

"Oh my God. It's starting" one of the girls said as she pulled Bucky near a stage where an automobile was. One of the dancing girls in front of the car announced Mr. Stark as he came on stage. A girl gave him the microphone and as he took it he gave her a kiss earning the crowd's applause. He wiped the lipstick of his mouth with a handkerchief and began explaining the exhibit. "Ladies and gentlemen, what if I told you that in a few years your automobile won't even have to ouch the ground at all?" He said as his girls took of the wheels from the automobile 

"Thanks Mandy" Stark said to one of them as he took a controller "With Stark Gravitic Reversion Technology, you'll be able to do just that" He said as he pulled a lever, making the exhibit rise. Ok, that was awesome.

"Holy cow" Bucky said as the automobile floated for a little before it started sparking and fell to the ground with a loud crash sound. There was an awkward silence for a few moments before Mr. Stark said laughing "I did say a few years, didn't I?" and the crowd went to another round of applause and I turned to Steve to tell him something but he was gone. Bucky turned and saw the same thing and then my eye caught a poster of Uncle Sam, encouraging people to enlist, and cursed under my breath following Bucky, who obviously saw it before me, to the enlistment office. There we found Steve standing infront of a prop that showed you as a soldier, but Steve could barely reach it.

Bucky gave him a shove, waking him from his trance "Come on. You're kind of missing the point of a triple date." "We're taking the girls dancing" I said "You go ahead. I'll catch up with you" as his response.

Oh God, not this again I thought.

"You're really going to do this again?" Bucky asked him kinda pissed

"Well, it's a fair, I want to try my luck" he answered. I started getting really pissed now as I yelled at him "As who, Steve from Ohio? They'll catch you, or worse they'll actually take you"

"Look, I know you both don't think I can do this"

"This isn't a back alley, Steve. It's war" Bucky told him

"I know it's a war"

"Then why are you so keen to fight?" Bucky interrupted him "Yeah man, there are so many important jobs" I said " What do you want me to do, Chris? Collect scrap metal in my red wagon?" Steve started getting angry as he said that to both of us "Yes, why not?" Bucky told him "I'm not gonna sit in a factory, Bucky. Guys, come on. There are men laying down their lives. I got no right to do any less than them. That's what you don't understand. This isn't about me." 

As Steve told us his little speechabout why he had to go to war, I noticed a man looking at us, who I recognised as Dr. Abraham Erskine, the man working with Howard Stark on this new super weapon that would change the war. He was looking towards us, especially Steve.

"Right, cause you have nothing to prove." Bucky told him.

Then we heard the girls call us" Hey Searge, are we going dancing?"

"Yes we are" Bucky told them and then turned to Steve "Don't do anything stupid till we get back. Cm'on Chris" he said and as we began leaving, we heard Steve yell "How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you" That made us turn and engulf him in a bear hug "You're a punk" Bucky told him "jerk" was Steve's answer "Be careful. Both of you". We headed to the girls as Steve yelled at us "Don't win the war till I get there" We both turned to him and saluted before going to the girls. Later, as we danced, I kept thinking of the hard months ahead of me. But that turned to concern. Concern about Steve. As I thought of him, the same question was on my mind...

What if they take him?

AN: Hey guys...

OMG. I went to see The Avengers 2 on Friday with my bff @MisguidedGhost_11 and it was AWESOME... Seriously I'm thinking about going to see it again. Have you seen it yet?

Also, from May 19th to June 10th, I might not be updating because here in Greece we have exams so, during this period I won't be updating.
