The Eternal Tree

Ivy juggled a wooden cup of milk,plates of cheese and bread and fried,salted eggs with two hands.
She quickly laid them on the table and shouted"Dinner"
Seven children scurried our of one room to feast on the meal set before them them as quickly as they came they left.
Ivy examined the food, not even a loaf of bread or a drop of milk laid on the table.
She wasn't going to eat dinner again this night.
She wearily sat on the wide, sofa and sighed.
Ivora walked to her and sat on  her lap"mama,I'm hungry"
"Well,I'm also hungry, your cousins sure have an appetite"
Ivora chuckled "I wonder if Grand mama is still alive somewhere in that seapedo"
"Her remains are probably in the depths of the Burban" Ivy replied, tears clouding her eyes.
"I wonder if...our sun will rise again whether we'll survive this" Ivora mumbled, tears flowing down her cheeks.
"I don't know" Ivy replied,shutting her eyes with tears drowning her cloth.

Lionel ended up on the seashore staring at the crashing waves sliding on the seashore.
This made him want to think about the Eternal Tree.
The places where all living creatures came from.
The place that held all regions of the Glober verse.
He had only heard myths about that place,myths that he had not dared test.
He remembered the old wise wolfhound that lived in a hole under the tree,a refugee from the war of two clans.
The black  fraternity and the Silver fraternity.
Half human,half wolf,this mythical creature was the only living being that had the knowledge to eradicate all living beings.
Lionel shuddered,thinking about what would happen if one laid their hand on such knowledge.
Suddenly, a bush in the distance shook violently leaves flying all over in the process.
Lionel's brows raised up in question.
What  is that?
Lionel got off his feet and started to prance toward the shaking bush.
He reached the bush and  his jaw dropped as he saw a long,mutant hand reach out from the ground and dragged him in.

"Hummmmm" The wise, old wolf hound meditated,his fingers curled up peacefully.
"Master xi,master xi!"A servant ran in sweating hard.
" What is it,mijang?"Master xi replied, not breaking concentration.
"The shadows are getting closer"Mijang replied, his heart punching his ribcage hard.
" The shadows? Go take a nap,Mijang, it may help"Master xi said,standing up and looking out of his tiny hole outside.
"Believe me,master xi"
Master xi suddenly transformed into a wolf and nodded to mijang to do the same.
Mijang transformed and they both dashed from the green grass lands surrounding the Eternal Tree to the dry,parched plains a far distance away from it.
Xi dashed to the dark smoke coming from the dry,parched plains.
"The shadow lands" Xi whispered, slowly walking towards the flames.
Mijang transformed into a human and slowly followed xi.
Suddenly,a huge,dark masculine figure shot up from within the flames.
"Mijang,wield your Katanga" Xi uttered sharply, making mijang to leap to his feet.
A Katanga was a sharp,twisted,metal created by the queen of Metal,a friend of Xi.
"Oh,I don't think so, xi" The masculine figure says,making the Katanga turn to dust.
"I control all source of life now"
Xi frowned "I don't think so, I control all life,I have the knowledge of the Glober verse  all memorised up in here,
I know the answer to the problems plaguing man"
The masculine figure laughed,  his laugh echoed and the grassy plains ahead began to wilt"You may know the answer to life,but I control it,I have the ability to take life"The masculine figure mumbles and pauses"And to give it"A field of dark coloured roses began to bloom one after the other causing a field of darkness.
"You control evil magic" Xi said,a green coloured ball forming in the middle of his hands.
"Not so fast,Xi"A shot of dark suddenly blasted out of the masculine figure's hand and hit Xi head on.
" Who are you! "Mijang asks,shivering.
" Who am I?I am  Slar, owner of the Glober verse,king of all things dark,the prince of Darkness,himself"Slar screams, and the creatures that hear his voice falls down and dies.
"Not today, Slar" Xi says,grabbing  his tall wooden stick and runs to Slar.
He swirls it and smashes Slar's face.
Slar quickly recovers just in time to get another hit.
"You old idiot" Slar spat. A dark ray shot out of Slar knocking xi to the ground, his stick revolving on the ground.
"Mijang,my staff" Slar dashed to the staff with the speed of light and grabbed it.
"Don't you dare" Xi whispered and Slar broke the staff with his knee and a green gem fell out.
"I'll take this" Slar says,bending to grab the gem"And be on my way "
Xi coughed on the ground, spitting out blood.
Mijang lifted Xi's body off the ground and made his way to the Eternal Tree.

"The state of the Glober verse is critical, The evil prophecy of our forefathers have  returned.
Slar,the Abomination has returned, how did this happen?" Xi says, waking around in the tree.
Mijang sat on the floor eyes concentrated on a certain spot.
"Mijang?are you listening?" Xi repeated, waving his hand in front of his face.
"I am not Mijang, I am the darkness prospering in the light, I am part of the black fraternity, I am the fulfillment of the prophecy, I am Slar"Mijang mumbled and started laughing heartily.
" You are not Mijang,You are...Slar has possessed you"Xi says, before Mijang held his neck and pushed him to the wall making him choke.
"I forgive you,Mijang, but stop for you know not what you are doing" The grip on Xi's neck grew stronger and Xi dropped to the ground, losing consciousness.
