MapleShade x reader

Chapter 4

W/n looked up at the sky as clouds covered the sun in the sky, small drops of rain began falling. He looked towards the camp entrance, there was no sign of MapleShade.

"Do you know where MapleShade is?" He asked FreckleWish as she walked passed him. She stopped with a frown on her face.

"I thought you were with her," she mewed quietly. W/n nodded slowly, "yes, but she told me to go back to camp after confronting a RiverClan patrol..."

The golden flecked she-cat stared with a flash of horror in her eyes, "they could've hurt her! Why did you leave her alone?"

"I-I don't know..." He said with shame, RavenWing then entered camp, flicking his tail to BeeTail and OakStar and they began whispering under the high rock.

OakStar snarled before jumping up onto the High rock and yowling for the clan to sit below. W/n sat down next to FreckleWish, the golden she-cat raised a brow.

"Someone needs to fetch MapleShade," the brown Tom meowed, just then the tortoiseshell entered camp with her kits.

"MapleShade!" W/n quickly ran to her and nuzzled her with a smile, and then licked each kit on the head.

He then looked up at OakStar, the leader narrowed his eyes at him. "Tell the clan the truth," OakStar meowed to the queen as she stood in the centre of the clearing, "about the kits father!"

Every cat stared at MapleShade, FreckleWish stood beside her, fur bristling. "We all know that BirchFace is the father! Why are you questioning this?"

"I want MapleShade to tell the truth," OakStar growled at his daughter to be silent, "I can't believe one of my warriors would dare tell such a lie!"

MapleShade stayed silent, W/n sat beside her with anxiety prickling every hair on his pelt. "A-any clan would be proud to have these kits grow up and serve them!"

"The kits are Half-clan, their father is AppleDusk," RavenWing meowed towards the ThunderClan cats.

W/n suddenly felt his whole world come crashing down, he didn't dare say a word as the clan was dead silent.

He looked at MapleShade with sad, e/c eyes, pleading her to deny what the medicine cat just said. But the Queen said nothing.

The Tom felt betrayed, not only did she lie to the whole clan about the kits being BirchFace's father. But she lied to him for moons...

FreckleWish launched herself at MapleShade, fur bristling and anger burning his her eyes. She clawed MapleShade's eye.

"What have you done? Why?!" The golden she-cat cried at the Queen as she attacked with no remorse.

MapleShade stared in shock, "Stop!" She yowled, BloomHeart and SeedPelt quickly dragged her off.

W/n ran towards the Queen with worry, "DON'T GO NEAR HER, W/N!" OakStar yowled in fury.

MapleShade staggered to her paws, Cats hissing and muttering to each other as they looked at the Queen like she was a piece of crow-food.

"You don't deserve to be called a warrior!" FreckleWish yelled, her voice quivering slightly, "you should be driven out, with those...half-clan creatures!"
