chapter 14- deep up in my feelings

It's been 2 months since me and Dontavious last spoke and honestly it was the best thing that could've happened. If i was still fw him, i would've never met Damien and he has truly been a blessing and the best boyfriend ever and the best part is my mom loves him too... kinda😭

Damien lays on my stomach-
Damien- baby can i ask you something?

Alicia- sure wsp?

Damien- If you wasn't feeling this whole relationship thing anymore, you would tell me right?

Alicia- ofc i would but i have to ask where is this coming from?

Damien- no where it's just i really like spending time witchu and i don't want anything to mess this up.

Alicia- it won't, you have my word.

Damien- come here
They kiss and Alicia gets on top of him-
Alicia's mom walks in the room-

Alicia- Mom!!

Alicia's mom- omg i'm so sorry!! Dinners ready btw.

Damien- umm i should probably go

Alicia- no please don't, stay and have dinner with us.

Damien- I would love to, is that alright Ms. Tresvant?

Alicia's mom- sure and it'll give me a chance to get to know you better.

Damien- ok great.

Alicia- we'll be down in just a second.

Alicia's mom- okay take your time.
she closes the door.

Damien- damn yo moms caught us in 4k😭

Alicia- ikr i was so scared but she reacted better than expected.

Damien- How would she have usually reacted lol?

Alicia-  idk probably cuss you and me out, tell your parents and never let me see you again.

Damien- damn well i mean my peoples know i be getting it in so it ain't nun.

Alicia- i haven't told mine yet.

Damien- and why not?

Alicia- because my grandparents are like the strictest christian's you will ever meet. I mean they would criticize you on anything and expect a pass because they are "children of the lord"

Damien- So you afraid your mom is gonna tell them?

Alicia- terrified. I never told anyone this but i'm not an only child, i have a brother.

Damien- What was the point of keeping your other sibling a secret? Do your best friend even know?

Alicia-No she doesn't. I just haven't had the heart to tell people.

Damien- what could be so bad about him?

Alicia- my mom and grandparents kicked him out when he was 17 because he came out as gay. I never had a problem with it because i knew from the jump but my family just couldn't accept it. So he left and started scamming and was making bank. This one guy wasn't tryna let that slide and attacked my brother but to save himself, my brother had to kill him. Now he's serving 20 years.

Damien- Idk me personally i wouldn't have been ashamed of that, he had to make a living to survive and someone was tryna take that away from him.

Alicia- that's what i've been saying forever but my family hates him to the point where he's not even mentioned or thought of at family get togethers.

Damien- how they just gon shut him out like that? Have y'all even went to see him?

Alicia- the last time i saw him, i was 11 and it was when he had just got locked up. I haven't seen him sense.
