"Hi, Robyn." Carla squealed and hugged me tightly. I hugged back.
"We missed you. Where have you been?"
"Just out of town visiting family." I shrugged my shoulders and going behind the counter.
"Okay." She smiled and walked away. All day no one came in the store.
3:45 p.m.
"Its bout time for my lunch break." I told Carla.
"Not just yet. Somebody just walked in." She pointed to this man dressed in all black.
"Hi, can I help you?"
He didn't say anything. He didn't even look at me. I watched him as he look at the Jordans.
"I can see if we have that in your size. What's your shoe size?" I stood beside him.
"No." He said huskily. Oh my god, his voice is sexy.
"Okay, I'm at the front desk if you need any help." I walked away. Five minutes he came up with a box of Air Jordan 12s.
"Good choice." I smiled as I rung them up. "That'll be $96.70."
He pulled out a hundred dollar bill and handed it to me. "Here's your change and have a nice day."
He walked away without saying a thing. How rude.
"Well, time for my break."
