I read a few poems lately and thought I might give it a try myself :>
Sit. Give it a few days
Don't have too much
Or you won't be able to give it awayWait. Give it a few hours
Don't take too much
Or end up on a bed of flowersWait. Till your back home.
Don't leave on your break
To smoke in the car aloneSit. It won't bother you after long,
If you give it up
You won't need what you wantStop. For just five minutes.
Give five more minutes
And then take a few more hitsOr. Maybe this stuff isn't enough
Maybe I need something stronger
Or people might see through my bluffIt's fine. I quit.
I don't need that machine in my mouth
In my lungs, I'm done, I took the hintBut. I can't.
I won't. Let it go.
Five minutes come and go
One more to go
One stop to go
One more cart
One more hit
One more time
Till I run out of itThis is mainly about a problem I had with nicotine, me and my friend really. And it's definitely a struggle because it became a thing to relax me when I was stressed, but I think I was able to get it under control when it just kept making me more anxious in the long run. So all are not alone with this struggle for anything! Patterns are hard to break and we can do it !!
