chapter 17: you don't own them anything

3pov:

Wei wuxian looked away , he didn't see it as abuse .

He just causes troubles and got disciplined for it .

Besides the Jiang had took him in , sheltered him and he was here thanks to them.

He couldn't just leave he had a debt to pay for them even if it costs his life .

No , he wasn't abused they cared for him , they are his family .

His shijie , his shixiong , his uncle, madam you she cared she just didn't show it .

If it weren't for them , he would've been dead , killed by dogs while fighting for survival.

In his youth before his uncle found him  rescued him , he's here thanks to them .

He should be grateful , he's just son of a servant .

Madam yu , her harsh word were to encourage him to be better to make her proud and to make the sect into her glory and not to put it into mud because of him .

Some part said what his daughter is saying is true .

But he pushed it away.

"Wei ying" wei wuxian thoughts were cut off by lan Wangji calling his name.

He looked over lan Wangji looking at him with worried eyes.

Not only him everyone there are worried or concerned over his well being.

Lan Mai knew what her mother thinking , it was very obvious.

Looking at his face , she knew what he will say .

And here it is , "I'm not abused. " Her mother had stated.

Her grandfather looked at her way to find her clinching her tiny fist.

Her face was in destress .

" Like any disciple , when I make trouble i get disciplined for it " wei wuxian said with a big smile.

'No , it's not ' lan Mai wanted to say.

She bite her lips , her eyes shaking.

She went to her mother , took her hands pressing a kiss on them , putting her forehead in those hands.

She looked in her mother's eyes . Moving her head slowly left and right.

"A-niang , you are abused and for a fact you don't own them anything ." She said with a little smile and warm and sincere eyes filled with her love to her mother .

Lan Wangji was already beside wei wuxian .

He put his hand on his wei ying's shoulder and looked at him with worried eyes .

"Wei ying you can tell us " lan Wangji said .

Qingheng-jun looked at this scene in front of him .

His granddaughter looks on the verge of crying.

His little brother Qiren looks mostly like he's trying to figure something out .

His older son Lan Xichen , looks like he wants to help in the situation but the scene infront of him stopping him.

He sighed , he really should take action.

Lan Wangji pov:

Wei ying must've suffered very much.
I would never let him get hurt anymore.

Lan Mai :

Mother shouldn't suffer this much.

Why is he saying this ?

If words don't work , action would.

You would not suffer in the future.

I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN.

Lan Qiren:

How could the boy be abused there.

He have the same carefree style like his mother.

He's always smiling .

He's clearly happy without a care in the world.

I sighed

I don't know what to believe anymore.

Lan xichen pov:

Are the Jiang abusing childe wei ?

How could that happen to their head disciple .

How could they do this to him ?

3pov:

Wei wuxian cupped his daughter's face and said with his sunny smile " Maimai I'm not abused like I said , you must be confused , that's it ."

He looked fine, like he's saying the truth (it is for him).

Not broken , just the carefree wei wuxian , the troublemaker with a big grin adoring his face.

Lan Mai begun to tear up.

" NO , YOU ARE!" she shouted crying.

They really broke him .

That yu women , that b*ch broke his mind to think of what whatever she did to him was love.

She smiled and begun to laugh

"Pfft.. hahahahahhahahahaha , yo-hahahahaha , you think they love , they care She care for you" she gritted her teeth.

The adults looked shocked by her behavior.

Her eyes were unreadable , but you can see anger and confusion.

"If you really think of it as love , then let me tell them " she looked and the people , her father , uncle , grandfather and granduncle.

"And they would be the judges"

"Maimai , they don't need to know , it's nothing like I said " said to her.

The little girl looked at her mother" mother i saw it an i read it before"

Her family were confused .

"Mother , there's a secret that i buried down inside of me and only future you know it "

"I was Reborn in this world".

So I didn't upload in this story cause I lost motivation and mostly didn't have inspiration to know what to write.

So I'm back writing it

In this chapter i wanted to show the affect of the  abuse that wei wuxian received.

How it broke him and made him see the abuse as nothing but discipline for the trouble he causes.
