hey babes <3

so i announced it a while ago that i was gonna rewrite this book or like edit it, and im ready now!! if you didnt know that before, well you know now and i hope youre as excited as i am cause i think this edited version is going to be so much better than the original!

i took peoples comments into consideration and changed a few things, but theyre small and basically everything else is still the same. the writing style is also a bit different, because i have grown since i originally started it, and i have a few chapters written, already so i am going to share what i have.

updates will be slow, im busy as flip this year at school and am on the verge of losing my mind but its okay

20 years old, only child, had abusive & emotionally absent parents
She's well off but not super rich like her best friend is
Sweet, loving, caring, but hurting mentally a lot of the time because of her past
Third year college student in California where she grew up
Always did amazing in school & loved it, always finding an excuse to stay there after so she wouldn't have to go back to the mess of a home she had
Has always wanted to own her own business

Nick Levine
MMC
20 years old, only child but grew up close to his cousins who he now has not spoken to in years
Same as Lilly, he is well off but not at all rich like his best friend is
Kind of a grumpy guy, usually very cold towards people and usually despises talking to strangers
Even towards Brett, he can be an ass, but he can be sweet if he wants
Third year college student in California where he grew up
Never really thought of his future because his father never let him believe he would amount to anything. While his mother tried to protect him, his father was still very mentally and physically abusive

Very headstrong and stubborn, has boundaries she refuses to let people break
Has trust and abandonment issues, so she has a lot of friends but only one close friend that she fully trusts

Very smart but has never liked school
Has always wanted to be a teacher but her parents don't want that for her

Brett Petrovic
21 years old
Nick's best friend
Trust fund child, Has siblings, older brother & younger sister, is the middle child
On the outside, seems very easygoing and happy all of the time, but he struggles a lot with anxiety and getting to actually trust people, has a lot of past problems with his parents avoiding him for his other siblings, so he often thinks he is being annoying or a bother
Is very playful and loving but uses street racing and alcohol as a way to escape from always having to act fine, but he is never an aggressive person
Only has one really close friend
Third year college student in California
Never really did well in school
Kind of always wanted to be a nurse but his parents said he would be a disappointment if he didn't help his older brother when they inherited their company
