Steve's pov

Steve watched the clock as the class ended. He couldn't wait to get out of the class. Tommy had spent the whole class telling Steve ideas to mess with Jonathan. Steve wasn't too fund of the idea. But he couldn't chicken out right? Plus it does give him a chance to actually talk to Jonathan.

Steve watched Jonathan and Robin stand up. He stood as well ready to follow the boy. Robin went over to the teacher as Jonathan left the class. Steve panicked inside. He would be talking to Jonathan alone.  He's never let himself be alone with the boy. Afraid he'd look at the boy too long. He followed Jonathan to his locker.

Steve stood by as Jonathan opened his locker. Jonathan looked at the other boy, "What do you want Harrington?"

Steve smirked, "Any plans after school Byers?"

Jonathan slammed the locker, "Yeah to avoid you."

Steve laughed and glanced down at Jonathan's lips quickly then reverted his eyes back to the boy's eyes, "Damn was gonna see if you wanted to hang out."

Jonathan looked  with anger in his eyes, "I'd rather die."

Before Steve could snap back Jonathan walked away. He stood there in shook. Maybe this will be harder then he expected. But to be fair Steve and his friends have been bullying Jonathan since middle school. So was it really a surprise Jonathan walked away.

He turned around and saw Tommy walking up to him, "Well? What did the freak say?"

Steve scoffed, "He said no and walked away. But I'll get him to fall eventually."

Tommy laughed, "Good."

Steve saw Jonathan walk into his next class. He wished life was different maybe then they could of been friends.

Jonathans pov

Jonathan walked into his next class filled with anger. What did Steve and his friends have planed. It was obviously something to make his life hell. Always was he couldn't get a break.  He was lost in his thoughts when a hand was placed on his shoulder. He looked over to see who it was.

Nancy smiled at him, "How are you feeling today."

Jonathan shrugged, "I'm getting through the day."

Nancy sat beside him, "I'm sorry about you getting outed."

He smiled at her, "It was bound to happen. It's a shit ass town."

The girl smiled at him, "Well there's a party tonight. You should come with me. Bring Robin too."

Jonathan rolled his eyes, "I hate parties Nancy."

Nancy looked at him, "I know but I think it would be nice for you to get out of the house."

He looked at her, "Ok? But why?"

Nancy shook her head, "Because why not."

Jonathan gave in, "Fine but you owe me."

Nancy smiled as the class began.

Jonathan looked over at her. He was grateful that she was still his friend. And didn't call him disgusting when he came out to her. He felt bad though. He knew he was gay when he got with Nancy he just didn't want to admit it. But now he did and they were friends now.
