I woke up at 5 in the morning.Today am getting married to Suriyan, an average government worker. I am 26 already and I am being rejected by many men.They come to see me.and when they see my sister Iva,they reject me.she is more beautiful than me,but that's not her problem.and for this proposal Mama told her not to come in front of the guys family. I feel so bad for her but she doesn't mind it at all.Iva had been sleeping late lately.As she is going to see some singer's concert and dreaming about him.
"Iva wake up".
"Iva..."
"Ooh Zee ..umaaah..umaaah... Can I have an autograph please" Iva says in her dream
"Iva , stop dreaming about some stupid singer.and wake up.you would be late for your collage".
"Oh .."(she rubs her eyes with her hand and looks at her sister) Iva says
"What oh..wake up already "
" Di (sister) you are so boring, I saw my Zee in my dreams".Iva says
" Day and night you keep saying about some stupid Zee.He is ruining the younger generation.you don't study where as you attend his concert.whats so good about him.he only sings some stupid rock songs and here every day you get late to your classes. and ....
"Di...stop giving lectures early morning.If not you too would be late for your lectures.".Iva says
" Thank god! I don't lecture in the same collage as you study."
" Zia...Iva.." Mother calls them
"Come let's go .Ma (mother) is calling.lets go Iva ".
"Zia , why do you have to go to collage on your wedding day"
" Ma, It's my farewell today and I have to collect my salary also."
"Come here,let's cover your hands so a piece of cloth so that no one would have evil eye on your henna." Mother ( Sarla khanna)says
"Ufo (sigh) Mama, this is 21 century. And who is going to see my beautiful Di and have evil eye."Iva says
" Let's go am late Iva .."
"Oh ho..Why are you in such a hurry.wait for your Mr Suresh .he has to come make his belt and adjust his glasses and call out your name Zia and again if you don't show up he has to call Iva please ask your sister to be quick."Iva says
"Zia..."Suresh calls out.
Dadi (grand ma) look at suresh.now see he would turn right and now left.He would pull up his pants and make his glasses."iva says
"Iva ...(dadi laughs ) you keep monitoring him".
"Oh... come on dadi he keeps doing this for 5 years and my sis had to travel with him in the his broken scooter every day."
" Iva can you please ask your sis to hurry up quick." Suresh says.
"See I told you dadi". (whispers in her dadi ears.)
" Bye Iva, Ma and Dadi.."
