Chapter 4: Shopping

As Y/n made his way towards his locker, he hummed while enjoying the music sent through his headphones.

He grabbed his books before closing the locker and turned around seeing a sudden Marin standing there. "JABWKFBAW- Where did you come from?!"

"Ahahah!" Marin laughed. "You should've seen your reaction."

"Can't really do that now can I?" Y/n muttered. "Is there something you needed?"

"Oh right!" Marin said. "Do you think-"

"Yo!" Her friend interrupted Marin.

"... Hi?" Y/n said. "You're Nowa, Marin's friend, right?"

"That's right!" She said before she turned towards Marin. "Marin, how could you just leave me like that?"

"Well, I wanted to-"

"G'morn." 

"Mornin'!" The rest of Marin's friends came and greeted them.

"Hi." Y/n said.

"I'm guessing we haven't talked before." The light-brown -haired girl said. "Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too-"

"Want a sucker?" Nowa suddenly said.

"Uh, no thank you." Y/n said. 

"But for real." The brown-haired girl said as she turned towards Marin. "What's going on?"

"Hm?" Marin hummed.

"He's obviously bothered. I feel bad for him." She said. "Don't be a nuisance." 

Marin turned towards Y/n, meeting his eyes before a grin formed on her face. She grabbed his shoulder.

"He's not bothered at all!" Marin said as she side-hugged him.

"U-Uh... yeah!" Y/n said while trying his best to keep his composure.

"Hey, Marin. We need to get to the vending machine. First period's bout to start." Nowa said.

"Crap! You're right." Marin said before turning to Y/n. "See you later, Y/n!"

"Uh, yeah?" Y/n waved back. 'The fact that she's also treating me the same here in school... never mind.' 

"Wait, is she going out with that guy?" A girl whispered to her friend.

"No way. Can you even imagine?" Her friend said.

"I know right?" 

Y/n: "..."

He took a deep sigh before making his way toward class, trying to ignore the gossip.

"Y/n!!!" Marin slid towards him. "Ne, ne, listen! After school today-"

"S-Sorry, but I got stuff to do." Y/n said as he stood up and went out to get lunch.

"Y/n!!!" Marin called out to him. "So today-"

Y/n zoomed out of the classroom and headed toward the bathroom.

"Maybe he had to pee?" Nowa said.
