A lot has changed over these past few days

A lot has changed over these past few days. Your routine is different, your mood is different, and the way you function is different.

Your normal routine of waking up 2 hours before class to get ready, has changed to waking up 20 minutes before class just to throw on some sweatpants and a hoodie. For you that is a drastic change, considering you always believed in "dolling" yourself up before going absolutely anywhere.

You felt as if you were in a hole struggling to get out of, you didn't feel like yourself - there felt as if there was a rain cloud constantly hanging over your head, and you felt as if you were at your lowest right now.

You felt used for your time and belittled.

The day after everything happened, you didn't go to school, since you knew you wouldn't be at your best academic performance.

Mariah collected any materials that you needed to complete any homework for the day or brought more homework for you to do.

You resumed going to school two days later since you didn't wanna miss too many days in a row.

A part of you didn't want to, since you knew you would see him, but you knew you could stay in the slump forever and let your education fall behind.

Upon arriving at your first-morning class, it surprised you to see that Eren wasn't anywhere to be found, nor did he show up the later it got into the lecture.

To be honest, you were glad he wasn't there, considering you couldn't mentally deal with seeing him.

You didn't see him at all throughout the rest of the week when you returned.

According to everyone in the group, he would be away for a while helping his mother prepare for her surgery. They wouldn't speak much further on the point, since they knew about the situation between the two of you.

You couldn't lie, it did bother you that he didn't even make an effort to reach out to you, and try to make an explanation about anything that happened.

You had got your new phone along with it a new number, so you knew he didn't have that number. He had your socials, it's not like he didn't know where you live or go to school, it's like he didn't even care to try.

You were sad, yes, but you convinced yourself that you would be over this whole situation in no time.

       ...

You sat in the back of the lecture room in your normal seat, patiently waiting for your chemistry professor Hange Zoë to arrive. It was common for Hange to get backtracked, mostly because they would be babbling to Levi - or more in his words "bothering" him about different types of chemicals, what they do, and the type of explosions, or reactions that can happen if certain chemicals are mixed.
