"All I know is I'm finna get drunk and nasty at this party," Mariah stated, while holding a dress up to her body while looking at herself in the full-body mirror.
"Drunk, yes, nasty with anybody besides Armin no." You said playfully rolling your eyes at her.
"Girl hush," she said turning away from you trying to hide her smile from the mention of Armin.
You shook your head and continued looking at different potential outfits for the party tomorrow. As you continued on your search for something cute to wear on the clothing racks in front of you, you noticed Mikasa make her way over to you.
"You finding anything you like?" She asked searching through the clothing racks. "Yeah, but I can't decide which one I want" you said with a slight chuckle, while keeping your eyes fixated on the clothing in front of you.
Silence then fallen between you two for a minute before you decided to break it.
"You know we don't talk much," you said looking at her.
She chewed on her lip for a second while calibrating her thoughts before finally speaking "Yeah we don't, I guess since everybody else always doing the talking and doing stupid shit we don't really get to." She said picking up a dress.
"True, true, we need to talk more." You added while giving her a warm smile.
"Definitely."
"I know this isn't ideal for a our first real conversation but, how are things with you and Eren."
The question caught you off guard, but nonetheless, you found yourself smiling at the mention of Eren. "Um, nothing we're... hanging out." You said awkwardly nodding your head.
"Oh come just hanging out." She said making finger quotes with a slight laugh " Look, I see how he looks at you and how you look at him. It's no secret that you two like each other, well for me it's pretty easy to tell, plus he seems much happier now that you are in his life."
"Really?" You questioned while putting your head down as a smile started to creep up on you.
"Yeah really, he's starting to open up again. I don't wanna get into it too much, since it's not my business to tell his business. But his last relationship did a number on him, and he hasn't really been in a real relationship since. He used to have his little flings or whatever, but it was never anything serious. But with you, I can tell he generally likes you just by the way he looks at you, or how his face just lights up at the mention of you're name. So please I would tell him the same about you, don't hurt him."
You would never hurt somebody on purpose, you didn't have that kind of heart. Though you two weren't a "thing" you would never do anything to hurt him, or your relationship.
"I wouldn't dream of it." You said with a smile, to which she returned "but we aren't a thing as of now." You said.
"Exactly, as of now." She said with a smirk before walking to a different part of the store.
