Chapter - Two

Taehyung's pov :

Everyone in the hall focused their eyes on the screen in front of them as the head of all, I mean Grandmaster took the mic to speak.

"Good afternoon everyone. You all already know why we are gathered here today. Today's the day when our five mages join us here as one of us. I'll ask you to welcome them and take them as family members like we take us. Please give a big round of applause for the five of them as a sign of welcoming them.," As he said that, we received a applauses from all the people present in the hall. Honestly speaking, it made me even nervous thinking that they might have higher expectations from us.

They will be greatly disappointed in us if we can not come close to their expectations. I don't want that to happen and for that we have to train hard here. My thoughts were interrupted when Grandmaster again started speaking.

"Now I would like you five to come here and introduce yourselves.," We all looked at each other and a very tall boy who was sitting in the opposite corner stood up and went to the center.

"Hello, everyone. I'm Kim Mingyu and I'm from . I have the power of earth which makes me the earth mage. It's a pleasure to meet you all and I will do my best here.", He said with a bright smile and we all applauded for him as he finished. He came back to his seat as the boy next to him went next.

"Good afternoon to all of you. Myself Lee Dongmin and I belong to. I am the mage of thunder. I hope everyone will take care of me here.", When he said that he looked really cold to me. His face had no expression at all. It was just how I saw him as he introduced himself. We all did the same as we did for Mingyu.

The next boy went to the center. He was also as tall as Mingyu. When he looked at everyone before speaking up, he looked really intimidating. His eyes were cold along with his facial expressions. But he had my attention the most out of all the others. "Greetings to everyone. My name is Jeon Jeongguk and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I possess the power of fire which makes me the fire mage. It is an honour to meet you all today along with my fellow mages.," He finished his short speech and I won't lie, his voice sent chills down my spine.

He came back and Hyunjin went up to the mic. I flashed him a smile and thumbs up which he returned too. He looks more relaxed than before and it made me feel relieved. " Hello, my name's Hwang Hyunjin or Hwang Sam which is my English name. I'm from Daegu and it's really nice to meet you. Thank you.", I was confused when Hyunjin came back without telling people about his powers. But then he ran back to the mic again.

"I'm very sorry. I forgot to tell you about my elemental power. I have the power of air and I'm the air mage. I am really very sorry again.", Everyone laughed at his actions but what can I say, that's my best friend and it's how he is.

It was finally my turn to go up there. I faced the crowd sitting in front of me. I took a deep breath before speaking. " Good afternoon everyone. I'm Kim Taehyung and I'm from Daegu. I possess the power the power of water and ice. It's a pleasure to meet you all. Please take care of me. Thank you.," I finished my small introduction and came to my seat. The Grandmaster took hold of the mic again. "They are our five mages. Now it's our duty to train them and make them ready for the future. We all here have to help them in everything. If they are facing any problems, our members from every department will help them.," Everyone screamed "Yes, Grandmaster." in response.

"I declare that the meeting is over now. Everyone can leave now.," The hall became empty in few minutes leaving the five of us with Grandmaster and his two assistants or may be bodyguards.

"Mr. Shin will now take you to the house you all will stay. I'll take my leave now as it's my time to rest and it's better for you to rest up too because your training will start tomorrow at 9 am. I want everyone to be ready and arrive at the training ground before I do.," We bowed to him telling him okay and he left from there.
