Chapter 3: Why?

Guys just listen to the song above. It's just so awesome! I was listening to it while writing this and I just wanted you guys to enjoy it too. It's called eyes, nose, lips by Taeyang.

After then, I was sent a letter saying that I was going to Buckingham palace to be knighted by the Queen.

I was knighted within the next week. I was now called Madame Zara, which annoyed the hell out of me. I hated it the most when Kayden said it. It writhed inside of me. I wished he would just call me Zara. I wanted him to call me Zara, with no honorific, just Zara.

I was sitting in the study when I realised it was Wednesday.

"Oh, I have scouts today, I almost forgot in all this work" I remembered.

"What, pray tell is scouts Madame Zara" Kayden asked.

I sent him flying.

"What is wrong Madame Zara?" He asked.

"Call me that again and I swear I will really hurt you".

"But Zar- Madame Zara"

"See! You were going to say my actual name!" I exclaimed. "That's what I want, so don't ever call me Madame Zara again".

"Yes, Zara..." He smiled at me when he said that which made my heart skip a beat.

"A-anyway, please prepare outing clothes for me". I tried to sound sophisticated but failed and ended up laughing at myself.

Kayden started laughing as well. I was in shock. It was the first time I saw him laugh. I just stared at him while he was laughing, now that I think about it, he was sort of cute. After a few seconds he looked at me, embarrassed.

"I apologise Zara" he said while bowing his head.

My heart literally jumped out of my chest.

"Don't apologise, you were sorta cute when you were laughing" I replied. It just came out. He stared at me. My face went completely red. "J-j-just get me a durable outfit please".

"Y-yes Zara". He answered and then left the room.

I ended up doing paperwork for an hour until Kayden came back in.

"Zara, what time is this scouts that you mentioned earlier" He asked.
I looked at the time.

"Shit! I'm late"

I jumped out of my desk and started to put on the clothes Kayden left for me. O almost took my top off when I realised that he was still there.

"Are you waiting for something?"

He seemed incredibly flustered.

"I'm sorry" he answered.
He faced his head down to the ground and went out of the room. I put on the outfit and rushed downstairs. The car was already waiting so I just grabbed a banana and called Kayden and we both went into the car.

"Zara! But you haven't had a proper dinner!" He warned me.

"It's fine, I don't have to eat full course meals all the time". I answered. I stuffed the banana into my mouth.

"Z-Zara......."

"Meh, waths wong?"

"The banana....."

I had suddenly realised. I had deep-throated the banana. I felt so embarrassed, but he started laughing which surprised me. He looked so cute when he laughed. I wish he would laugh for hours so I could look at his cute face! Oh I wish I had a camera so I could show you how adorable he is when he laughs. I just stared at him and smiled. Suddenly the car stopped. We were at the venue. It was sort of a community centre but there was just a small building and the acres upon acres of land in which we do things like pioneering, orienteering, camping and other outdoor activities. When I walked in I saw all of the scouts talking to each other and then they all stared at me. They immediately ran up to us.

"Hey who are you?" One of them asked.

"You look nice, let's be friends".

"Your so cool!"

They all had their attention on Kayden. After a few seconds I got fed up and said

"Don't forget I'm here! He's my butler-"

"Boring!" Autumn cried. She has never said anything nice to me at all so you can safely assume that she hates me.

"Yea! I thought he was a new scout" someone else shouted.

"But come with us"some of then insisted. They all ignored me and dragged Kayden over to the other side of the field, leaving me on my own. I just sat in the grass all alone................

When everyone had come we went out to build a gateway. We got all the logs and rope and then were tying them together upright.

Kayden's P.O.V
Ever since I came I had noticed that nobody has talked to her. She looked a somewhat upset which worried me. Suddenly one of the scout threw rope at Zara.

"Tie these together" he commanded.

"How dare you-" I tried to say but Zara grabbed my sleeve to stop me.

"What? You gotta problem with that?!" He taunted.

Zara shook her head.

"Then get to work bitch!" He shouted.

I felt like wrangling his throat, no, I would have immediately crushed his throat but with Zara grabbing on to me so tightly, I felt like I needed give my attention to her completely. She stood up and started tying the rope together. It was a painful job as Zara got countless rope burns on her hands. While she was tying it, Autumn came up to me.

Zara's P.O.V

Autumn came up to him and started talking with him. The more I heard her voice, the more I felt like crying. After a minute or two, I felt like I was about to burst into tears. I looked at him hoping he would notice and come over to me but autumn saw me and was dragging him farther away. Feeling very lonely I grabbed his arm.

"Kayden, on the way home we need to buy condoms. I want us to be able to enjoy ourselves when we go home". I blurted out. I wa so embarrassed but autumn snarled at me and walked away.

"A-a-are you s-serious" he stuttered.

I shook my head. I grabbed his sleeve.

"I'm sorry, I just didn't want you to go away. Just seeing you walk a few steps made me want to burst out into tears. I felt so........lonely".

He put his arm around my waist and pulled me into his chest.

"I'm sorry. I promise I will never make you feel like that again".

I put my arms around his waist and I let my head be enveloped in his warmth.
"If only this was real" I said to myself because I know it's fake. "If only this was real love"

After I while the same guy called out to me.
"Hey! Your taking too long! Do 10 laps". He demanded.

"B-but" I asked

"Don't make me repeat myself, do the laps!" He shouted.

I immediately got up but I felt very dizzy and I past out.

Kayden's P.O.V

Zara past out. She collapsed onto the ground. I immediately rushed to her. She was out cold.

"Ha ha! She's so lazy that she past out the moment she went to start the laps" the guys snared.

I immediately punched him in the face and completely crushed his 'lower region'.

"Don't you ever act so unruly to her again or else I might actually kill you" I warned him. He squirmed away. I carried Zara in my arms over to the limousine waiting to bring her home.

Once she got home, we called in a private doctor to examine her. She is anaemic. She already knew and she didn't tell me. Once the doctor left I sat at her bedside.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I whispered to her even though she couldn't hear me. "I'm your butler. Your health is one of my biggest concerns. Why wouldn't you tell me?".

"I can't" she muttered which surprised me. She hadn't woken up but she still was saying random words 'in her sleep'.

"I'm......sorry. I......I co...couldn't" she said.

I stood up and walked out of her room so I could wait until she actually wakes up.
