Chapter 2

I didn't post yesterday, not because I was busy, but I forgot :)

So next week came fast. Minji has been so busy for the past week since she's been taking acting lessons as she was starting to take acting roles. She was offered a lead role so she's more serious than ever. Yoohyeon, on the other hand, was waiting for Minji's calls and texts, which she initiates at times. She heard about Minji's new endeavor and she didn't want to bother her. But Minji assured her that her calling or sending texts always cheers her up and motivates her to do better (and well, Yoohyeon's heart almost burst at that).

Sometimes, they would have late-night texts and calls. It's just the usual how's your day and both of them would rant about how fun, tiring, stressful, and such their day is. Minji is glad to have someone who can listen to her, someone who knows what she's going through. Yoohyeon is too as well. The pressure of being someone who'll bring out content to Minji's fans is overwhelming.

So now, she's preparing for the photoshoot. She's always early when it's with Minji. She wants to avoid any casualties or mistakes that may delay or stop their shoot (even if she wants to be in Minji's presence for a long time).

Gahyeon sent her an outline of the photoshoot. 3 different concepts, 3 different outfits, and 3 different sets. Yoohyeon is not aware of the outfits but she's knowledgeable about the concepts and sets.

Yoohyeon's already done preparing the first set. It has more of a dark vibe so they'll be using a lot of grays and blacks, making the set a little bit darker. She prepared the materials for the 2nd and 3rd set so the transition will be smooth later while Minji changes her make-up and clothes.

Soon, Minji and her team arrived. All of them greeted each other until Minji's eyes landed on her. Yoohyeon smiled and gave her a nod, in which Minji returned. Yoohyeon thinks that even Minji's bare face was pretty enough, and she wishes she could take a photo of her and display it somewhere because she looked beautiful.

She's seen this a couple of times in the past 3 years since Minji sometimes decides to do her make-up on set, but it still leaves Yoohyeon in awe whenever she does. During their early photoshoots, Minji would always wear a hat and a mask, rarely greeting everyone and heading straight to the make-up room. Until she removed the cap, until she removed the mask, now revealing the true beauty that she has. Yoohyeon could look at her all day.

Handong ushered Minji to go into the make-up room while still looking at Yoohyeon. She flashed one more smile, somehow a way to assure Minji that it was okay, and she saw Minji's shoulders loosen up.

Yoohyeon wonders what kind of concept Minji will show this time. The woman is so diverse and talented that she could pull off everything.

"Minji's ready!" Another stylist shouted.

And God, it really felt like time stopped for Yoohyeon when she came out.

Minji was wearing an all-black suit. It's not the first time that Yoohyeon will see Minji in a suit (and she looks amazing every time she wears one). But her suit this time, God, Yoohyeon can't even process it in her brain, it was oversized, hugging the frame of her body. But the problem was (or Yoohyeon's problem was), it was open and she wasn't wearing anything inside. The suit was covering the areas of her chest but Yoohyeon could still see the curves of it. Her brain was going haywire and her heart started beating fast. And her hair was halved in the middle, quite wavy but not too much, and her whole face was shown. Yoohyeon could see the chain earrings that were dangling from her ear. No, she can't take pictures of Minji like this.

Minji positioned herself on the chair that Yoohyeon prepared for her in the first set. Minji could see the stunned Yoohyeon, with mouth agape and her eyes never leaving her. Gotcha. She smirked as she pushed her hair back so Yoohyeon could see. This was the intent of this outfit, why she chose this for the first one (and well, Yoohyeon should be prepared for the other 2).

A staff member tapped Yoohyeon's shoulder. "Ms. Yoohyeon? Can we start the shoot?" Yoohyeon flinched a little because she hadn't realized that she was frozen like a statue there. Her cheeks tinted red from the embarrassment so she kept looking down because she knows that her cheeks would burn more if she looked at Minji. She cleared her throat and shouted,

"Let's start the shoot!" Yoohyeon breathed out heavily. She needs to focus and take good shots. This is for Minji's career as well so she has to do good.

Looking at the viewfinder, seeing Minji in that outfit and posing with her elbow resting on the backrest of the chair and her other hand in the middle of her thighs, Yoohyeon's breath hitched. She keeps gulping and blinking her eyes in hopes that she could regain focus, but she can't. She knows she's just mindlessly pressing the shutter.

Minji keeps changing poses, poses that are attacking Yoohyeon every single time. Yoohyeon was the type of photographer who was very vocal with compliments and praises to the models. But this time, she can't even mutter a word out, afraid that she might reveal her true feelings to the woman in front of her.

But when Minji let one side of the coat slide off her left shoulder, her right hand resting on her bicep so it wouldn't fall off completely, Yoohyeon let out a shaky breath against her camera.

"Alright! Let's take a break!" Yoohyeon shouted, feeling a huge relief release out of her. But then she remembered that Minji liked scanning her photos to see what she liked and what she didn't like.

As said, Minji approached her with an innocent smile on her face. "Can I view the pictures?"

"S-sure." Yoohyeon boots up the desktop, revealing hundreds of Minji's pictures.

And there it was, the look that Yoohyeon came to adore whenever Minji was monitoring her pictures. It showed how dedicated she was to her work, and Yoohyeon admired that for her. People would spread rumors and say that Minji's getting lazy and that she was not as hard-working as she was before. But they can't see what Yoohyeon can, this dedicated and serious Minji who wants to deliver excellent content to the public.

However, all innocent thoughts left her brain when the back of her hand was against the exposed skin of Minji's chest. Yoohyeon didn't think about it when she just placed her hand over the edge of the table. She forgot how Minji had bad eyesight, so she had to go closer to the monitor to see the pictures properly.

And worse, Minji seemed to notice it. She placed her elbow over the table, over Yoohyeon's hand who was gripping the table with all she could, and her chin over her palm. This allowed more of Minji's skin to be exposed, and one wrong move from Yoohyeon, she might touch her in one of her sensitive areas. Minji could see how the photographer licks her lips and how her eyes darkened at seeing her like this.

"I love it. Great idea with the chair, Yoohyeon." The photographer gulped, she did not dare move at all even if her arm was already hurting.

"Y-yeah. Since this is a magazine with you on the cover, I want the people's attention on you rather than the props. Though there would be more props in the next 2 concepts as per your manager's request, I- I think going back to the simple ones are also great. It highlights your beauty more."

"Oh, so you think I'm beautiful?"
