Robocar Poli Oneshots!

The Cave

"That should set you guys up for the storm!" Roy exclaims as he ties the last of the rope.

"Thank you!" Cici said as the water shook her. They sigh in relief when she's kept still. Poli locked up the warehouse as Lifty and Ms Bell take shelter.

"You done Poli?" Roy asked. Poli nods as he looks over. Everyone was secured for the upcoming storm. They could head back to headquarters for their own safety now.

"Come on. We better head back." Poli calls out. Roy does a thumbs up as he transforms. Poli was going to do the same when his transmitter went off. "Yes Jin?"

"Poli! Peter and Johnny are out in the forest . Their teacher called in to see if you and Roy could find them before the storms hit." Jin responds. Roy and Poli's eyes widened.

"Peter and Johnny were out in the mountains? Alright we'll head over right now!" Poli said. Roy was moving ahead already as Poli transformed back into his vehicle mode. They rush onto the trail beside the tunnel, and into the forest They stop for a moment to transform and call for the missing boys.

"Peter! Johnny!" They call out. The rain was starting to come down and they became worried. Knowing the boys, they may have gotten themselves into extreme trouble. The forest was huge, who knows where they were.

"Poli! Roy!" They listened closely. The cries come from their left and run over. They see Johnny outside a cave. A cave they had blocked with tape when Spooky fell in. They could see a stream forming

"Johnny!" The boy turns around and smiles but it immediately falls in fear. "Where's Peter? Are you hurt?"

"N-o! I'm fine! But Peter fell inside the cave! I tried going in but it's so slippery!" Johnny stutters.

This wasn't good. If the rain gets any worse, the whole cave could flood and drown Peter. Roy didn't have his crane so they didn't have something to haul Peter up. Poli takes a moment to think and looks around. He notices the rope on the ground and picks it up.

"I know what we can do. Since we don't have the crane and platform, I'm going to use the rope to attach Peter on and you need to move your line slowly to get him out." Poli said. This was the best plan right now. As much as Poli wanted to just bring him up manually, the space was slippery and he didn't want Peter tp get hurt

"Alright! I'll try. Here!" Roy shoots out a line and Poli grabs it. Poli shoots his own line and wraps it around a larger stone. He could hear Peter's cries for help and he slid down, keeping an eye for Peter. He finds him at the end, clinging onto a pointy rock.

"Poli!" Peter exclaims and almost slips off. Poli smiles before reaching out for him.

"Are you okay?" Peter nods and Poli grabs him. He wraps the rope around him and attaches Roy's line. "Alright. Just walk with the rope.I'll support you! Roy bring him up!" The line moves up slowly and Peter starts moving. Poli puts a hand on his back as he forces his line to go up. It was a little hard with the water and a few slip up's but they reached a point where Roy could see them.

"Just a little farther." Poli muttered, pushing Peter a little forward and onto the dirt part of tunnel. He stayed back in case Peter would fall but luckily he managed to get to the top. Johnny runs and hugs Peter and Poli and Roy sigh in relief. Suddenly lightning strikes down and hits a nearby tree. It falls over, charred and hits the ground head

A crack could be heard and Poli looks up to see the cave collapsing from above. "That's not good!" He moves quickly however the ceiling comes down and snaps his line sending him back into the cave with a scream . Rocks block the cave entrance as they fall from the ceiling

"Poli!" Everyone shouts. The rains are coming harder. Enough to strengthen the stream that was going down the cave

"Oh no!" Roy unhooks the line from Peter and opens his leg to get a drill. He turns to the kids and looks at them seriously. "Follow the trail and you'll see a Rescue Shelter. Press the red button and put the code in. The code is 7354!" As bad as it was to tell them the Rescue code, it could be dealt with later.

"Okay!" They both run down. Roy turns back and drills into the rocks and throws them aside as quickly as he can. When it was enough for him to get in, he shoots a line at the same stone and slides down quickly.

"Poli! Poli!" Roy yells. It is when he slides to the end of the tunnel and lands into the cave when he sees Poli. He was laying on his front in a body of water. He wasn't moving. Roy internally freaked out. "Poli..?" He turned his friend over. There was a crack in his windshield and a few dents in the hood. But he was overall fine. Roy sighed with relief and grabbed his hand. "You're going to be okay. I got you."

Poli's arm over his back, Roy forces himself to up with his line. He climbed his way out despite the extra weight. But he would do anything for Poli's safety. He almost reaches the top and Roy forces Poli our first and he follows along. He gets hit by the rain but he couldn't care less about that.

"Let's get you inside. And check on the boys.."

Poli woke up shortly. He felt something soft under him as he sat up and look around . The lights were dimmed and Peter and Johnny were asleep on a mattress. They seem to have changed into some new clothes

"Hey." He looks around and noticed Roy staring at him. His friend gives him a smile. "Glad to see your awake. How are you feeling?"

"A little hurt.. what happened?" Poli mumbled.

"A rock sliced your line and you crashed inside the cave. I got you out and well.. here we are. It's going to be storming all night so we're staying here. I told Jin what happened and she"ll talk with the boy's parents." Roy responds. He sits next to Poli and unwraps a bandaid. "You got a little injured. Some dents and a scratch and your windowsheidl cracked but I think we can handle it until morning"

"Yeah." The bandaid is out on his bumper.Poli smiled and yawned. Roy chuckles "I'm exhausted. That rescue was a lot."

"Yeah. Sure was. I Think it's about time I sleep." Roy response. Poli moves his blanket up and Roy moves in. He moves a little closer to Poli and sighs happily .

"Thanks for saving for me." Poli mumbled

"Anytime. You've done the same for me."
