Ahhhhh Ok ok so watched YLIA recently and it fuckin' broke me bro- I sobbed- ANYWAY! I am not extremely attached to Kousei but I like him and he's pretty much my type (aka NERDS.) so ofc! I thought of a decent fanfic idea that I think could be fun

Kousei x Musician Reader Y/N in this one has grown up around music their whole life, having both their parents being musicians, they know how to play almost any (classical/traditional) instrument. From acoustic guitars to electric ones, bases to violins, pianos to keyboards! And probably more... but their favorite? The violin and piano. Sounds that can come off so many different ways! So many different emotions can ring out from such vast possibilities! Hence why they're such faves.
So what happens when their parents finally convince them to play on stage? Well that's when Kousei would have noticed their passion for music.
God I hate writing summary's... they always sound cheesy lmao That's what I got for now tho in terms of my brain working to write a quick description at 3:30 am 🗿 This story would be a slow burn since I feel like Kousei would be hesitant to love again after everything that happened ygm?
I also hate the fact that all the fanfics I've read of a Kousei x reader on here (so far) move so fast like BRO CHILL HE JUST LOST HIS FIRST LOVE HDJDHDJ
If you can't tell, I prefer better thought out and slow burn stories as apposed to fast pace "we met like a week ago and now we're dating and saying the L word! Tehe!!" Ones. Obviously that can still drag out a little long like "bruh we've flirted like 30 times now it's so obvious just start dating ;-;"

I kinda thought of a angst option where Y/N could have !depression! Or something but idk... usually ppl go to overboard with that kinda angst and I wouldn't wanna fall into that trap if I ever wrote this as well as misrepresent something that serious :/
