Time was ticking, the exams would only be around the counter with how long it's been. The three were out on a trail, the preteens jogged while their teacher road on an electric mini scooter in front of us. Deku curried a heavy metal safe while the Y/N held thick, chunky dumbbells in each hand with the heaviest weights were wrapped around both her wrists and ankles.
They've been going at it for awhile, circling around the park meant for exactly what they're doing for a few hours now. Beads of sweat ran down the sides of their faces, the salty substance stinging their eyes, the muscles of their body burned and ache, but they didn't stop. Paying past the pain that screamed for them to stop wasn't enough to falter their movements.
Until Deku began to feel out of it, like his soul was slowly leaving his body. This feeling caused him to harshly stumble into his friend, her feet tripping over each other before she falls on her face, the green hair boy following suit. Yagi paused and his scooter came to a halt, shifting his body to gaze back at he two.
His daughter lifted her head, spitting out little leaves and dirt, but stayed put where she was. Her body had never been so worked in her life she felt embarrassed, but she was still a kid, so this short little break is much needed.
"Hey, come on kids! Look alive! You two only have three months left until exams.. What? You're gonna give up after all this work? Flush it down the youth and take it easy?"
Her hands balled into fist.
"N-no sir.."
She forces herself to sit up, settled on her knees as she takes a hold of the dumbbells, but she doesn't bother to move. She stares at the ground, she doesn't attempts to move as Deku who struggled to lift his body from the solid flooring. Yagi raised small brows, shaking his head at the sudden realization.
"You two.. Are overdoing it.."
His blue eyes narrowed.
"The aim the pass American Dream Plan was created for both your bodies in mind, it was tuned in to where your progress would be both swift and manageable."
The Pro!hero sighs heavily.
"None of you have been sticking to it.. Which means it's gonna have the opposite affect of what we want."
They knew he was right, but they couldn't just do what was said on that paper. More had to be done if they expected to be outstanding heros like AllMight, which meant they had to push their bodies to its limit and become stronger.
"I have to work harder, or I won't stand in the chance against the other applicants."
Midoriya spoke first, he continued to struggle as his hands balled into tight fists.
"I.. We just don't want in to UA.. We want to Excel.. We.. We want to be like you."
He slowly began to move, yet it was so slow and sluggish.
"And how are we gonna do that.. If we don't push ourselves and see our limits.. So we can surpass those said.. Limited and get even.. Stronger.."
His eyes widened at the two as they go lift themselves off the ground, Midoriya still struggled as (n/n) managed to keep one knee on the foor as the other is used to try and support her.
"I want to be the greatest hero in the world, so I'll keep on trying till I got what it takes to do that!"
"And I'll do what I can to control my powers, until they see me like another upcoming hero with a Quirk than a destructive monster who does nothing but destroy anything she touches!"
