.. chapter 1 ..

y/n blinked at the girl who just flung her hand into the air, suddenly interested in this class. "SIR! The-" y/n blanked after the girl started her question, not caring anymore. They woke up when everyone had already left the classroom, and grabbed their books and bolted out, well. They tried to bolt out, at least they tried. "Now who do we have here?" The girl had grabbed them by the hood of their sweatshirt, laughing playfully. "what do you want?" y/n yanked their hood back to their hands and flipped it over their shoulder before glaring at the girl, whom had green hair with brown, and a bun on top. 

y/n questioned this for a moment but shook it off.  "I want your name, unless you'd like me to tell the teacher you fell asleep?" the greenie (y/n had a nickname now.) snickered, teasing her. "alright fine then, my names y/n." They said, passive aggressively. "amity, pleased to meet you." greenie held out her hand, smiling. They have a nice smile...y/n shakes amity's hand then turns away her cheeks feeling hot. "you'd better be off to your next class then, y/n." 

greenie says. Amity moves her hand back and rests it to her side. "yeah yeah see you later then." y/n waves and walks away without turning back because her face was red. "WRONG WAY!" amity yells down the hallway and y/n turns and goes the other way with her hood over her head. 

y/n walks up to the steps at their house, going inside through a small oak door. greenie, is inside sitting on a chair. "what-" y/n blinks. "your mom invited me over for tea, we bumped into each other at the hardware shop." amity says, and y/n's gaze moves to their mom, jaw dropped. 

y/n hurries to where greenie is sitting, and picks amity up off the chair. y/n waves bye to their mom as she hustles amity to a room, y/n's bedroom. "what are you doing here?!" y/n says surprised, through gritted teeth. "just here for fun!" amity teases, smiling. y/n turns away blushing again and going to tidy up her room, during their conversation.

"ugh, amity." y/n groans. "sorry- I can help tidy up if you'd like?" amity says, fiddling with her hands nervously, a slight pink of embarrassment on her upper cheeks. "aww, you're blushing!" y/n teases, giggling. "what?! no I am not!" amity stands up, now clearing blushing, but not in embarrassment anymore? 

now y/n and amity are sitting on the floor, talking. "did we have homework?!" y/n exclaims, suddenly panicked. "no, silly." amity doubles over laughing. "HEY! I had a right to be worried little missy." y/n teasingly crosses their arms, stands up straight and looks behind themselves snootily. "alright, sorry!" Amity shrieks as y/n tickles her ribs and they both end up rolling around laughing and shrieking.

"okay lovebirds, amity, your mom wants you back home." y/n's mom walks in and both amity and y/n start freaking out and blushing, claiming and shrieking that they aren't together. "okay okay, you aren't together. yet!" y/n's mom leads amity out, leaving y/n a blushing tomato. Amity looks back, they share a look of both lobster colored faces.
